Hey, VR nerds, consider OVRLRD.
It's a VR mech sim.
The VR interactions in the mech feel great. Everything is click push move...
And then you have to pilot the thing around the low poly landscape. Graphically the game is basic/retro, but it is functional. Maybe you'll get some vibes of what it was like to fly around in Micropose's Amiga games back in the day.
But, there's the satisfaction of learning to pilot, in VR. It's a sim, and the draw isn't the graphics. It's the skill level required to make it work.
It wasn't just the enemy targets I exploded.....

So far so good, tons of potential and very immersive. Played the demo before pulling the trigger on the full game. This really brings me back to the old Steel Battalion game with the giant 50 button controller and the old Mechwarrior days. If you're a Battletech / Mechwarrior / SteelBattalion / Chromehounds / Hawken / AmoredCore / Future Cop LAPD / VTOLVR fan, you're going to love this.
