did the devs program lag into the game? cause thats what it feels like playing several seconds into the future while managing to get punched in the face in real time.

It's a cool game. the combat feels a bit wonky because sometimes you have to wrangle the camera, the minions keep chipping away your health, 2 bosses decide to spam you at the same time, one charges a special from offscreen and other stuff related to having to box your way one on one in a game that throws multiple enemies at you. But you can manage this, sometimes by just keep going, sometimes with RNG luck.
