My response to this homage to "F-Zero" games? Here's how I see it.
You may think, "Oh; this must be a cheap rip-off of the 'F-Zero' franchise!"
I kid you not; it ISN'T! (In fact, it's got some interesting mechanics that make it a solid homage that doesn't play QUITE the same. For example; there's pink energy for repairing damage to your race machine, and green energy for boost power...and using boost power DOESN'T damage your machine!)
On top of that? You can actually FLY with your machine, within certain parts of the racetrack...to an extent, anyway! (And that is a VERY interesting game mechanic!)
For my money? It's WORTH buying! (But I will in the future, advise Steam Workshop content for custom race vehicles & implied racers that can go with them, as well as custom racetracks that EVEN support custom graphics and soundtrack! (As well as of course, folks making their own "grand prix cups" with custom tracks that they make...and in the end? I HIGHLY recommend this indie game!

It has been a long time since i first placed anything like this. All i want in a hover racer game is to go fast, while making decisions at a speed that is reasonable, and to listen to good music while doing all that. The only games i can compare it to is F-Zero X and F-Zero GX. I played both those games as they came out for hours because of the music and the game play, and playing this felt right up there. I wanted new characters with new worlds and i got just what i wanted. I was very happy playing this, i don't have constructive criticism or negative things to say. It does just what i wanted. I gladly recommend this game. Most racing games have a speed cap or things in the game that slow you down. And that's what is so fun about this game, i go fast and i don't have to stop unless I die or grind up against the rail. Other than that, i can turn my brain off and have fun.

Let me tell you that ive never played a f-zero game but I've played a lot of redout on other consoles. Theres been so many clutch moments in this game where by butt puckered from how fast it was. Also, some of those missions are brutal lmao. Maybe I just suck. Also², hoping we get more color options in the future.
