Very shallow for a detective-em-up. It is poorly written and very poorly made.

This game seems like Phoenix Wright without the flavor/storytelling/music of Phoenix Wright. Also player choice is kind of removed... in Phoenix Wright, its up to the player to click on (or not click on) useless items and potentially waste time reading irrelevant conversations, in this game everything is forced on you. A small difference in outcome maybe but it makes it less fun. I will probably not finish this game.
really that is the whole thing that makes this game not as fun for me, its like they broke down the bare mechanics of phoenix wright, wrote a plot, and made the game without working on anything else. Thats one thing though, playing this game will make you realize how hard it must have been to make Phoenix Wright good - the mechanics of the game alone aren't fun.
If you don't care about storytelling/humor/music but want to play something like Phoenix Wright then this is a good game for you.
Also the english translations are not very good, but its an indie game probably written by a Chinese person so hard to complain. Lastly... the trailer for this game spoils the first case lmao, why would you do that? I put recommend because i get what they were going for with this game and i hope they try again but with a more complete formula.

I was expecting this to be like other investigation games, but it's more of a hidden object search game, with a few questions and answers (supposed to be questioning the suspects/witnesses?) that don't really flow well and issues with translation and narrative, etc..
Translation issues include:

Chinese text on an object description in a hidden object search in otherwise English translated game... lucky there is a hint feature, and would have been OK if it was the only issue)

Object names don't match the object - the object needed is completely different from the name in the provided list. Quite frustrating. You need to click on everything to hope to trigger a "find"... or just wait for the hint feature to fill up and use it, again and again.

The story/wording not making sense in general and making it difficult to follow.
Things not really making sense in the story and investigations:

Is the detective travelling through time? Maybe it got covered in the story, but I stopped playing out of frustration.

The game does not allow clicking on interesting objects in scenes/locations, until several revisits: why? Not sure, but there is a blood-covered knife at a crime scene, and it seems obvious to examine it first, and not after several rounds of examination and Q&A.

Felt like I was forced to go through every dialog line before I could proceed.
And:
The hidden objects themselves are inserted in the scenes in a curious fashion too: not laid out on floors, furniture, etc. but sometimes stuck on the ceiling, windows, etc. and drawn out of perspective and proportion - and you have to pan the screen to see the full scene.
I bought this a long time before playing it, otherwise I would have requested a refund as this was really frustrating to go through, almost a chore. I abandoned it during the second chapter.
