Great game. Really fun. No matter how old it is, it's still one of the best soccer games out there.

Please be aware, this is the PS release version not the original PC release. Different menus and some features such as Scenarios appear to be missing. My childhoold nostalgia slightly knocked despite the joy of seeing this on the store.

Well, I have to say it plays much better than I expected. I enjoyed full compatibility for my Xbox 360 controler, which was a great surprise. It has also aged technically overall - I assume that this version was updated to integrate with Steam, modern systems and controllers as well. It also runs quite smoothly and has licenced players/teams with nice player names in the commentary. An absolute must buy when discounted

I bought this game to see if the ps1 emulation was good. It is, and I think some people like it the way it is, because it has a soft texture filter, aspect ratio scaling, and supports many resolutions and refreshrates, (though you'll be playing at the framerate set by the game), but it's missing a few features that some emulators have, I must say, that this company provides you with a working rom, so you can use it in another emulator, and this is the best thing about this release, and I hope they continue to do this. this one is an EU rom (I think it's the only region it was released in, and I hope that future games rereleased that were released in the US have a US version, because 30/60fps US is better than 25/50fps EU). It would be nice if they incuded internal resolution options (1x, 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, ect) which is supposed to highly reduce jaggies and increase detail and visibility, but they didn't. this feature some people don't care about, but I do.

its a bit of Nostalgia brings back fond memories although not sure why not the PC version as it was far superior in my opinion giving it a thumbs up as its still a fun game to play

Nostalgia trip ahoy. The commentary from Barry Davies and Trevor Brooking is better than any of the current FIFA's. The gameplay is erratic and fast paced but still fun enough to play. Holds up better than I would have thought for a 25 year old game
