I really appreciated the Club Penguin nostalgia at first as well as pretty good hand drawn art, but the dialogue and story makes no sense whatsoever, it’s kinda funny. The characters are overly stereotypical caricatures and I understand wanting to portray the Club Penguin Island as declining after we’ve grown up, but it becomes overly cringe.
Quite an intense sociopolitical story too. If you thought American politics was intense, oh boy just wait until you play Crush Penguin! This is not even a dating sim in the slightest either.
The good reviews of this game are ridiculous too. You can clearly see the devs gifted this game to their friends and asked for good reviews.
