For anyone who enjoys a little spooky fun (like I do!) this is a great pick. It's not too scary or intense, but has just the right mix of creepy atmosphere, suspense, and puzzles to keep you entertained.
Navigating the environment can be a bit tricky at first, especially when judging distances and positioning your character, but it gets easier as you get used to the game's perspective and develop spatial awareness. The visuals and overall atmosphere are fantastic, and I'd definitely play it again.

I know the game is old, but the feeling of playing it is really great. What distinguishes the game are the horror, the difficult puzzles, the gloomy story, and the characters have emotions.

Phenomenal game. Normally i dont play puzzle games, but i forced myself to solve everything instead of looking it up and it was so rewarding. Also i like how the horror aspect is very atmosphere based instead of just throwing in jumpscares, and the plot is great too. would recommend :)

One of my favorite horror franchise, even got into the fandom for quite some time since I really love this game and the story and mysteries it built up, love seeing other creators theorize it.
Such a beautiful and cinematic experience
For those having issues with the whole "enhanced vs regular" and DLCs, DLCs you buy for the original ersion will work on the enhanced version too
I've had a few (or maybe more than a few) bugs going on during my first playthrough, controls are a bit stiff and death reloads are a bit long but apart from that, as a first time player in 2026, I loved every minute of this game. It's beautiful, haunting and I won't pretend like I understand the whole story but it did resonate with me a bit. The music, atmosphere, the way they play with lighting and camera angles is visually amazing.
DLCs were pretty good but the third one was insane. Definitely recommend them given they almost add as much content as the base game.

Highly Recommended
After completing Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition and spending around 12 hours exploring everything it has to offer, I can confidently say that this is one of the most unique and atmospheric horror experiences I've played.
The game's dark world is beautifully crafted, with outstanding visual design, immersive sound, and a constant sense of tension that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. The storytelling is subtle but effective, allowing the environment and characters to tell the story without relying on excessive dialogue.
The puzzles are enjoyable, the chase sequences are intense, and the overall atmosphere is unforgettable. The Enhanced Edition makes the experience even better with improved visuals and smoother performance.
While some controls can occasionally feel a bit clunky, it never takes away from the experience in a significant way.
If you enjoy atmospheric horror, clever environmental storytelling, and memorable art direction, Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition is absolutely worth playing.
9/10 – A haunting, beautiful, and unforgettable adventure.

So, I'm not one of those people who can detect differences between "enhanced" editions or their original counterparts. Not even the graphics seemed different for this one. That said, I'll leave my review of the original game further down.
The only things I really noticed is that there is an additional Extras menu for Masks. I don't know how any of them get unlocked, because the game never tells you when you do. The other thing I noticed is that when you start a new game, you can choose between Six (the raincoat child) or the Kid (I guess that's his real name). I was like, "Sweet, they give us something extra with the enhanced edition." Well, I was stupid to think that, because it's DLC and will bring you to the store page if you don't already have it.
So, basically, a menu of 5 unlockable masks, and a UI to tell you whether or not you have the DLC. I'm not impressed. Just get the original if it's less expensive.
Original review follows:
This game was fun, but has its quirks. The story and things that happen in the game are pretty symbolic, if I'm guessing right, but this developer isn't known for giving a solid foundation to work your imagination around. Usually they just say "yes" to any potential meaning fans bring up, at least that's what I've seen.
There are a few secrets to find, but nothing that would keep me coming back to the game to search for and discover. Realistically, the game is very short. There are puzzles that require a little thought, but nothing crazy difficult, unless there's a small opening to the next area clouded by shadow because the game sets the brightness so low for "immersiveness" and I've just spent 10 minutes wandering around and climbing shelves that lead nowhere, all the while being hunted by some goofy-looking idiot.
The only other annoying thing has to do with making sure you're in the right spot. Otherwise, something kills you if you're a little off. Normally, this wouldn't be too bad, but there's very little depth perception in this game. I could jump off a ledge onto another, sure that I've calculated my trajectory properly just to realize I launched myself behind it and into the abyss below. It's a problem I've had with other "3D" side scrollers.
Anyway, if you like creepy little games, you'll like the experience itself. Don't expect too much more out of it, though.
