fun and quite a bit of depth for a fairly inexpensive game

So I saw a video on youtube and decided to try it out Saturday morning. Then what I remember next is dinner and angry wife.
9 hours for the first session with no regrets. Yet, looks like I almost complete the game.
Looking forward to the Endless play-mode. Then I can dump even more time into it!

Not a bad TD game, the difficulty curving is relatively simple and 'legendary' difficulty is arguably a bit of a joke.
The principal issue with the game (like many TD games) is that certain towers just dominate particular roles, leaving others barely used or with few scenarios where relevant. This is compounded by the abilities that towers can gain. It is far more useful to have 1 tower with 3 abilities, than 2 towers of the same type. Thus, the playstyle of the game is extremely straight-forward once you figure out the crux point of any map.
A clear UI & good graphics, but limited 'strategy' available to the player.
6/10.
