Great game, It's kinda janky but in a good way. I think it's really good fun.

Short little inexpensive anime shooter. I personally beat the main story in ~3 hours which is unfortunate because I would've liked to see the story/lore more fleshed out. After the climax and big reveal the game kinda just ends. You do unlock an archive with lots of extra context and lore which makes me wonder if the game was rushed or the developer originally had much further plans for the game. There's further proof of this with all the NPCs and such in the hub area that seem like they should have been used for something.
The game definitely has that "unity feel" but the game works and even detects when the player gets stuck; it even has a return to checkpoint button if that doesn't work.
Achievements add quite a bit of replayability even if they can be cbt; however, the 4 rarest seem to just not work.
This actually brings an interesting thought, since it shows 1.5% of the people who own the game most likely just used cheats to mark all the achievements as unlocked.
Apparently this originally had an H version that was taken down by the developer, I personally respect that and this is in no way some "game censorship" moment. Plenty of games published by NekoNyan have H patches on their site if the developer wanted to retain the H content in the steam version. I truly believe the developer just didn't like the game being seen only for its H content (which if you read other reviews a lot of people definitely do).
Overall this game is definitely worth $15. It hasn't met the $1/hr metric yet but I feel like it could if I went through and did everything in the game.

Lorena is a pretty decent shooter. The gunplay is fine and the bosses aren't anything major, plus there is a reincarnation mechanic that keeps you from losing progress in the fight. There is a nice history you findout as you progress and by the time you finish it's rather sad to see. The voice acting and characters are cute and well done as well.
OVerall the game is really short, so I'd get it on sale and not full price, but other than that its worth playing.

Ok game, I had fun. It isn't going to win any major awards, it's not that kind of good but good enough to pick up on sale.
Now if they make a full blow X rated H version of the game in a DLC, 5 stars..

The ending of this game almost make me cry.
This game is a 3rd person shooter with 3D platform element. Little bit of sandbox within each mission. Most guns and items can only be obtain within the shop area. There is no leveling system but the player can upgrade the health and stamina pool by buying brown and red mushroom.
The gameplay and game mechanic are easy to learn. You can literally take all the time you want to finish this game.
The storyline is beautiful but also heart-breaking.
The main character is carefree treasure hunter with one primary goal in mind " save her little sister from ravage disease". This is the beautiful part of this story.
The heart-breaking part is the player will find out by reading the notes and recordings left by the Old Humanity that their war against "Daemon" have cost them everything in the end.

It's a cute and simple third person shooter about a girl saving her sister from a illness. There's various costumes that you can buy, ruins to explore, and of course: enemies to gun down. Gameplay is on the simple side but there's multiple difficulty modes for a higher challenge (including Insane mode: one hit to die mode). You can customize Loreana's clothes (and yes: panties too) after you buy them and unlock them as you get further in the game.
It's not perfect though: frame rate issues and it's a bit on the easy side but I didn't come across any bugs in my playthrough. If you can get on a sale: that's good enough.

The story is better than all of the shooter games combined haha. I can only say one thing though: When will part 2 drop?
Story: 9/10
Gameplay: 9/10
Soundtrack: 7/10
Visuals: 7/10
Bugs: 7/10 (note to dev team, although the unstuck system works, it doesn't register that you can get stuck behind loot boxes)
Overall score: 8/10
P.S. I was a bit skeptical at first about this game and the price, but IMO it holds its weigh pretty well, the controls may feel a bit weird on the PC, but you'll get used to it.

This is a cute little short game that has a deep hidden backstory if you know where to look. Every person is kind, considerate except for the known Ruin looters you fight while exploring dungeons. Combat system is fast paced enough, but not over bearing, and the feel of a dungeon crawl is there. Now for the backstory, and if you don't want to be spoiled well; SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
To summarize, while the people may act kind, you may notice that every single person has red eyes, or a form of red. That is because they are a descendant of daemons(demons), of which humanity was at war with for over a thousand years ago. Long story short, they lost, and the floating island an npc remark on, is a sort of ARK. That said, those aboard the ARK hibernated too long, and died in their cryo chambers, effectively making the daemons the dominant race on Earth. The recent people you know, evolved from that war, to be more "human". In whatever capacity they chose as work. Case in point: Daemons invaded Earth, fought a hard war, drove humanity into the sky as a retreat, and humanity perished as a whole. The world now belongs to the daemons, as human as they portray themselves.

Lately, I've been trying to broaden my horizons and get into more shooter games recently after my enjoyment of Slayers X, but a lot of them aesthetically just did not appeal to me. Imagine how immediately drawn in I was when I saw the trailer for Lorena and the Land of Ruins on steam, an adventure shooter game where you play as a cute anime girl that you can also dress up? I was sold, and after having played it, I do not regret my purchase.
Lorena and the Land of Ruins is a third-person shooter that puts you in the shoes of Lorena, a treasure hunter who's trying to raise enough funds to afford a rare medicine for her sister. There are 2 types of levels: get to the goal, which is self explanatory, or hunt, which involves defeating wave after wave of enemies. The game also offers 6 weapons and 4 difficulty settings, with the hardest one being unlocked after clearing the game once.
The whole game sort of has this melancholy feeling to it, with the game's premise and the beautiful yet sad soundtrack in most non-combat situations in the game, and this feeling only builds up the further you look into the game's lore. However, there's a lot of lightheartedness in the story as well, and Lorena's bonds with the characters she meets such as Zeera and the guild master are super charming. Trust me when I say the ending is so worth the payoff.
All in all, if you are looking for a shooter game where you get to be a cute girl that you can dress up, this will be the game for you.

as someone who played both the original DL version and steam version of the game, allow me to say this...
FUCK THE "RECOIL" THEY ADDED
it only adds annoyance rather than difficulty.
in the original version, there was no recoil, so overall, it was just easy since no matter how long you fired for, the crosshair won't move. in this version however, its about as bad as someone saying "randomness is good enough" causing the crosshair to just go in random directions. it doesnt feel like actual recoil and to me is worse than just adding a moving up recoil.
also, there are stages added to this version, but they just feel so bland that i genuinely could not tell that they were new stages until i compared the two versions.
additionally, i played this version on the hardest mode that is available, which is only available once you beat the game. my saves transferred from the DL version to the steam version, so that wasn't an issue, but don't do it... AI is just annoying to deal with and it felt like no matter what i did, the outcome was the same. even on the harder difficulties, it wasn't hard, just annoying.
so the issue is what they added was annoying or unneeded (but would have been welcomed under different circumstances). If you can find a way to get the original DL version (safely and legally) play that version. if not, i would recommend waiting until someone finds a way to restore this version to the DL version. I have messed around with the files, and was able to add in all the original features to the game at the cost of the english version. it even had the recoil and other maps.
MODDERS, THERE IS POTENTIAL! PLEASE HELP US RESTORE THIS DECENT GAME!
or you know, just have the developer make an actual patch and re-add the DL version to the site as it was removed.
you know, not running from your past kinda thing (imo). if a patch, fanmade or official, gets made, i may change this to recommended, as the game isn't really enjoyable unless you have your "rewards". then at least i had something to look forward to.
