i guess i'll recommend it as a 6/10 game, i mean it's only like 15$ (12 on sale for me), and i'm sure i'll get that much gameplay out of it, i absolutely adore the visuals of the game alone, which is what sold me on it to begin with
unsure about if i'll exceed a breakpoint where i feel like i got more than i expected out of it, but i doubt i'll feel "ripped off"
most comments are usually so critical to just say "skip it" or "this is awful" just because something isn't up to a certain standard, and while fair points can be made to skip out on this, i feel like i should point out this feels like it has potential, with patch updates for QoL/whatevers, i have no idea if it's "done done" after launch or they have a road map or any intention on making it any better, or they're just gonna abandon it, but what's given/seems to have been given from my short play time, it looks like it should at least be fair/fun enough, despite that being on the lower end of the "worth it" scale, i personally was just biased due to the theme itself
but it does... FEEL like an early access title, in terms of controls, hit registrations, skill effects, audio/visual feedback, etc, they just feel... empty and hollow half the time
it needs work, but i don't mind it
i hope they care enough to fix some shortcomings, if they don't, i mean, i'll probably see around 10-20 hours before getting "absolutely bored", so, i suppose that's fine for me, personally

If you want a tower defence game, this isnt it, its similar to orcs must die where you can place traps but they can't actually kill stuff, its more hero defence than tower defence. The only issue with that is that the camera settings & crosshair are so scuffed and no matter what you do, you end up wit ha crosshair that covers 60% of ur screen all the time cuz it pops up each time you hit something.
0/10 game wouldn't play it even if it would be my full time job.

Game Design and Graphics are nice, but at the moment the game is way to buggy to play. You cant get past level 5 because of bugs. Enemies dont die, but instead get untargetable and no further waves are spawning. You are stuck there and have no option to unlock further levels. You get around 2.5 hours of playtime out of this. Dont buy unless this Bug is fixed. (Developer is unresponsive since ~6 months)

Good simple fun, probably great for some coop action.
Towers definitely feel weaker, with the focus more on your character but there is still a nice mix.

This is a first impressions look at the game, I only went through the first chapter, I'll update my review as I learn more about the game.
So far, this feels a bit like a new take on Orcs must die! or Sanctum 2, where you defend something against hordes of enemies. However there is a cool twist with the planet exploration with a few secrets and very cool looking biomes ! The artistic direction is charming.
I enjoyed being able to pull aggro on mobs into traps and not just sit on the side watching stuff die.
I had a few performance issues so far :
- The Victory screen does a ~1s freeze but it's not too annoying
- The free camera view just tanks FPS to the ground. It's not game breaker but I chose to ignore this feature to avoid going into diaporama mode.
I like a lot that you can choose your weapon and select which towers are in your hotbar. I didn't get how to upgrade them despite the tutorial screen however. Either this tutorial was a bit early or I completely missed something here.
I wish I had a few friends to test the game with so I can see how multiplayer plays. Is the game difficulty scaled with the amount of players ? Can we defend without putting any towers ? Challenges are a very fun twist !

The game play is OKAY...The multiplayer is literally nonexistent which really made me upset! This game is not polished in the least. What's the point in having multiplayer advertised if it doesn't work? I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this. If you want to play solo that's the only way you'll get to play. This game would've been soooooooo good if multiplayer actually worked. The potential is there it just hasn't reached its peak yet.

Multiplayer is straight up broken, and the game crashes when I attempt to launch a lobby. It's really a shame too, because it looks like the production value in this game is pretty solid.

My friend showed me this game cause I enjoy Dungeon Defenders a lot, after a game or so, it was okay.
My first issue was my frames, that went up to 100 which is not bad, I max it at 75 due to my monitor and my frames went wild, from 75 to 45 within seconds, even with no monsters around, game is not stabilized, I lowered my settings and issue persist.
When I keep them at 100+ they even dip down to 40 at random, me and my friend in a different area had the same issue.
Second and I think this is because I got told "Well you play Dungeon Defenders so you'd like it" na its more like Orcs must die, which I really do hate, but I do not wanna judge the game based off expectations on a different company with a different budget.
Third, the gameplay itself is subpar, not that good, I feel like im not making contact when I hit or swipe at all, I only get the feeling if I am using long ranged weapons. I also have a few nitpicks. .
First nick pick, do the mosnters not run in a standard line, I see them usually walking around traps at will, I assumed it'd be like a straight line ordeal and only get out of line if you try to fight them.
Second - I do believe the graphics could be rather better, again, this is a nitpick and not a complaint due to my own opinions
Overall I would rate this game a 5/10 it feels boring and slow.

Can't get multiplayer to work. Cute game but the mechanics seem limited.
There's only one server setting which is Europe and trying to connect to my friend gives "server unavailable"
