I've been enjoying it, it kills the time for me. :)

Can't save progress, can't speed up time, and can't alter controls

Not sure what is supposed to happen. No one seems to do anything and nothing is very clear. Not really worth it. The developers need to have another look at this. Either the "simple tutorial" doesn't say how to make the people do things, or likely the commands do not work. The only thing the people do is endless "Moonwalking" in the same spot.

This might one day be a good game, but it's not there yet. It should at the least be labelled "early access". Things like it's not clear how to save the game, or even if saving is impossible - closing loses progress. Pressing Esc brings up a menu; pressing Esc again doesn't close the menu - that can only be done with a button click. Some of the menu icons are orange-on-beige or grey-on-beige and barely-visible. There are no hotkeys (or they're undocumented) The text urgently needs running past a native English speaker. I'm not sure much work has gone into thinking about balance and what sensible production/speed rates are.
I think some updates have been made since I first bought the game and couldn't work out how to do *anything* - it's clearer now what the mechanism is, but it still needs a lot of work before it's intuitive and enjoyable to play.

This is a cute, stripped-down resource management game. You're trying to build one of the ancient wonders within a certain time frame, and have to manage your workers (food, resources, wonder-builders, researchers, etc.) so you can really ramp up the wonder-building by the end. There's a combat element but not an overwhelming one, in which you sometimes have to clear out some enemies before you get access to resources on certain parts of the map, but so far it's not required a ton of strategy or replays the way some empire-building games do. Pick this up if you want a not-too-stressful challenge and a fun sense of achievement at the end of the level :-)
