Another game released as full version when it still feels early access and half baked. Concepts and Items are listed but not developed, plenty of jank and glitching. Last straw was towards end of a mission and a CTD, the recent saves are now corrupted no longer load. A good way to put down this game.

You may run into a bug here and there, but nothing game breaking. The UI is a bit clunky in places and I expected more story cutscenes. But still, I had a blast. It is a fun XCOM-style game.

Forgotten but Unbroken: After approximately 20 hours of gameplay, I can confidently assert that this game is unequivocally enjoyable. The gameplay bears a striking resemblance to Classified France 44 and, in certain aspects, may even surpass it. The gameplay mechanics are reminiscent of XCOM 2 and Jagged Alliance, where prior to deploying your troops on a mission, you meticulously load up on gear, including machine guns, carbines, rifles, grenades, healing items, and medical kits. The loadout is crucial, as you will not have access to additional resources unless you procure them or loot them from enemy bodies. Movement is also vital, as a stealthy approach is often preferable to charging in guns blazing. Utilizing stealth is essential, as it enables you to accomplish more without alerting unnecessary troops, considering you will usually be outnumbered during missions. While gunfights are inevitable, approximately 75% of the time, stealth is the preferred approach. The game's graphics are impressive, with well-rendered visuals, particularly when taking shots, which zooms in on your troop's perspective. The sound effects are expertly executed, with realistic depictions of grenade explosions, machine gun fire, and even the gruesome sounds of hand-to-hand combat. Although music is not a primary focus for me in games, the soundtrack is commendable and may appeal to those who value in-game music. The gameplay is undoubtedly the X-factor in this game, with stealth being a crucial element. In my experience, quietly eliminating enemies yields better results than charging in recklessly, although the latter approach can still lead to successful mission completion, albeit with greater difficulty. Initially, my expectations were modest, fearing a generic XCOM 2 experience. However, the game defied my expectations, offering a unique feel with its World War II setting and resistance storyline. The voice acting is well-done, and the narrative is engaging, making me feel invested in the fight. One notable mission, which I will not spoil, involved destroying a V1 with dynamite, and the resulting explosion was both realistic and thrilling. The game's ability to adapt and change objectives mid-mission adds an exciting layer of complexity, as you must improvise and adjust your strategy accordingly. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy the game and believe it is well worth the price. With its engaging gameplay and reasonable price point, I highly recommend it, awarding it a solid 8/10.
