캐릭터 하나하나 다 매력적이고 스토리도 탄탄해서 몰입이 잘 되는 미친 갓겜. 미니 게임도 재미있고 서브 스토리까지 완벽 그 잡채

Honestly,
While the way the story is presented is certainly unique compared to most VNs, and in some ways unnecessarily like a mobile game. It's not bad. Rather, my main issue is the fact that the MC is portrayed as a typical "anime protagonist" wimp who freaks out over everything. The fact that some many VN writers make their characters cowards in order to try and make their stories more dramatic or intense is just wrong, laughably so. It doesn't make sense and certainly does not endear the players to the story, characters, or the mood the writer is trying to create.

I loved everything this visual novel had to offer. The voice acting, the characters, the soundtrack, the sub-stories, and the main story were amazing.
The horror atmosphere was great!
There were cute, funny, sad, and lovable moments.
I highly recommend it!
I wish I could live in Her World for eternity.

Only bad thing i gotta say for now is the terrible audio balance on default.
The background music is turned off by default (why?)
All audios are best at 50%, with background music at about 20%.
In about 1.6h, i've completed 2 quests and 3 main story parts (chapter 1), which on the top right of the "main story pannel" it said 4/54 (part i was about to do). Which goes to show how long the story is. about 12-20h to complete, as often, later chapters are shorter because of the story having to progress to come to an end.
I might update later down the line if there's anything wrong or great about it, but for now i only got default audio balance to complain about
edit: First quest at the school "Finding Yuri" doesn't have good placement of flashlights "hints". Uppon collecting the axe, it gives a prompt about a door being unlocked... What it doesn't tell you is that you gotta go back to the start of the level, which seems useless to go at (2 enemies spawning at the top of the screen, like it's trying to keep you away from that direction. But, you gotta go back the way you came from (top right of the map) And it doesn't have any hint leading to that.---------------------------edit after about 12h reading (about 4h afk time) i've reached chapter 22/54 (chapter 27 is the half point). Which counts for about 22-36h to complete if you don't skip around and read at a medium speed and do all side stories and quests.-----Reviews with less than 20h should be taken lightly, as this is quite long if you don't skip around
edit 2: Sub stories 6 of Hyeon-ah and Yuri had to be completed twice to count in the sub stories completion. final quest of the mountain is just trial and errors over and over until you find the correct path, which is not fun to "brute force" a puzzle, trying every posible combination until you finally get it right.---------------------It did took me a bit more than 35h to complete (not including afk time, and adding 3h from steam removing my playtime, for some reason), reviews of less than 20h obviously skipped around or didn't do any quests or sub stories.

Her World is an exceptional visual novel that delves into the themes of memory, pain, and the human condition. You play as the protagonist who after a mysterious incident finds himself in a desolate, alternate world. With the help of Hyuna, who is also trapped there, you meet three other isolated individuals: Yuri, a rebellious schoolgirl; Woobi, a profound young girl in a red raincoat; and another intriguing character. Each has their own world and tragic backstory, adding depth to the narrative.
The game stands out with its superb storytelling, excellent character development, and full voice acting. and the comedy and serious themes mix is balanced and ease the tension at certain points.

This is amazing in pretty much all aspects (story, setting, characters including the protagonist, plot twists, atmosphere,...). I also really liked the bonus minigame (because despite being tricky at times, it was still managable to win without being a pro at that kind of games) and the system of collecting shards in order to unlock additional stories and costumes for the minigame is fun too.
I found the protagonist really likable (which I initially didn't expect before playing) and I think that his bonds with characters are mostly very well done (especially Yuri and Woobi). The plot itself and the world-building are quite creative as well. Overall I found this to be a very pleasant experience, even the UI/ layout is very satisfying and I'm literally obsessed with the background CGs (probably some of the prettiest backgrounds I've seen in VNs).

8.5 Out of 10.
I liked how the mystery is solvable if you like to solve mysteries before the main character does. Everything else is great the story, characters and music.
Now only a few problems which aren't to big of a deal. The translation was good, but had some moments for me where I didn't understand what was being communicated, localization was at times immersion breaking.
The mini game seems unnecessary and poses no real challenge or fun, you might get blocked by furniture or a wall which is more frustrating then challenging. It is optional, but if you want to see additional scenes or cosmetics there is no other way.
Finally I ended up liking one character a lot more over the one I think the game wanted me to like. A lot of story and emotional moments were devoted to that character.

Love this game, very good story with twists and turns, action, good sound effects and music, great length even if you only read the visual novel part like me, I liked the quests were skippable wouldn't have wanted to miss out on this. It's a beautiful, heartwarming, and complex story that had me in tears over and over. Great game! Worth every penny!

Taking the more psychological horror elements from the tail end of Some Some, Her World is a strong VN that showcases one of the genres VNs do really well, horror. Unreliable narrator, untrust-worthy girls, and a world who's rules are consistent in their madness.
The gameplay sections are okay, nothing to write home on but are also completely optional. They do reward extra slice of life scenes and some adorable chibi images of the three leads so I felt rewarded.

You know, I really, really wanted to like Her World. I found it on complete accident while I was hitting the "random visual novel" button on VNDB, and the screenshots really intrigued me. It went on sale soon after I put it on my wishlist, and... well, here I am now. I spent a lot of time mulling over my thoughts on this visual novel after I 100% completed everything, and I think I'm fully ready to talk about some of them.
In short: GOD, I wish there was a Neutral option on Steam.
In long: There is so much that I like about this visual novel, but at the same time there's so much I dislike or outright hate that I cannot, in good faith, recommend this game. I adore how pretty the CGs are, the soundtrack is actually gorgeous, and I love the main character Sangjoon. I loved the worldbuilding of this game - the horrific implications of the strange world is so creative and interesting, I want to learn more about it. On top of this, his dynamic with two other characters - Woobi and Yuri - are so wholesome and lovely, I wish the entire VN focused around them. I love the uncle-niece relationship and older-brother-little-sister relationship he has with them both. They aren't the main focus of the story, though; instead, a woman named Hyeon-ah is.
I actually hate the romantic lead, Hyeon-ah. I've tried, time and time again, to put aside my feelings for her and give her another chance, but it's like every 10 lines she does something that puts me in a sour mood. I understand that the writer was going for the yandere trope, but Hyeon-ah has none of the charm of a yandere. Where does that leave her, you may ask? It leaves her as a character who is abusive, possessive, and just downright shitty. If anything, Sangjoon being with her seems to go directly against his character. He'd just gotten out of an emotionally abusive relationship with a girlfriend when he ended up in the strange world of Hyeon-ah, and by getting into a relationship with her Sangjoon has only ended up in a way worse dynamic than before. At least the girlfriend he'd dumped didn't threaten him with a knife multiple times.
The translation is iffy at best - there are many times where I was completely lost on the meaning of a sentence, along the copious typos and errors. I don't even want to get into my multiple complaints about the gameplay; the optional quests are janky, poorly designed, and have many UI oddities that left me scratching my head. (After 100% completing the game, I STILL don't know what the slot for "Item" is used for. Additionally, the "Goal" slot never changes, you're ALWAYS looking for a certain jewel and never anything different.) One of the quests, called "Woobi's World," is honestly so poorly designed it took me at least 2 hours to finish it. For context, I could complete most of the others in the first try in 4-5 minutes.
The only saving grace is that the quests are optional if you just want to read the main story. To 100% Her World, though, you gotta do them all.
In short: There's so much I like about this, but at the same time there's so much that leaves a sour taste in my mouth that I cannot recommend Her World without at least five different strings attached.
