Wasn't sure what to expect going in, the balance is a bit off, but it feels wonderful, there's little tactile and clever ideas that carry the whole thing, the looting feels lovely, the farming enemies for not only stat increases but also for their abilities, but the abilities have sizes (that affects how many turns to cast and also how much space to store) its just so elegantly designed. Everything is a choice with consequences but self contained with the context of the game logic.

Interesting. Game lays out each enemy's abilities from the start, but you learn to play by just clicking and seeing what happens. Seems simple at first but I had to properly grapple with the depth of the mechanics to beat all bosses. Took me 2 hours to completely finish it/beat all aims in the game at launch.

Kardun is a difficult one to describe. It's a turn based fighting puzzle game, in which you mix and match different movesets to fight increasingly difficult enemies. It was a surprisingly delightful and original experience, although a very short one. I love games that just throw me in at the deep end and make me figure things out myself, and Kardun definitely succeeds at that. It does still need some balancing, combat gets very easy once you figure things out, but the latest patch already made it a lot better. I hope there'll be more enemies to fight and quests to complete in the future, because I really enjoyed what little time I spent playing this game.
