Keeps crashing and has no styles to use with out buying them. Making it a cash grab.

As a Traveler and beginner Youtube shorts maker, I bought this as a cheap starting point for a more serious editor then i was useing before. I knew going in that it wasnt a top of the line editor, but seemed decent enough for a beginner. Pros: -I have made many videos and cut frames from videos for pictures with this editor and it worked well, i am happy with the outcomes. The shortfalls in my videos are from me, not the editor. -Its pretty easy to use, has many tools to edit and add effects. -Doesnt take long to load/open -Has never had a issue with a file i try to add -Its cheap compared to the better editors Cons: -As others pointed out, the editor can crash/freeze and close. For me it seems to do it when ever i dont save edits for too long then it crashes. when i save project after every single edit (which you shouldnt have to do) it doesnt crash. But i have had it crash and cost me time to redo edits and it has crashed while rendering (i render short videos so not a big deal to restart but if doing a long video it could be fustrating) -It doesnt have a feature to automatically add sub titles/text to the words spoken. I think the next version up has it, but not this version. -It has alot of effects and things but i cant find a simple arrow or pointer clipart, i had to make my own. Overall its a good beginner editor, you can make good videos with it, if you can save your project often lol.

Mainly use this for reliable renders. Decent for quick edits, great rendering quality and speeds; specifically for Nvidia and AMD. Easy to use. I have used for simple work so far, but it rendered a 12 hour video perfectly in 4K quality without skipping a beat. Perfect for YouTube!

I needed a new editing software for small video content. So, I was looking around for something to buy that I hoped would be of a good favour. I went for this program. And now, I struggle to see why I bought this, in the hopes that it would be beneficial to me. For one thing, the program always freezes every time I make one simple cut or one simple edit to anything. It ends up taking 3 seconds for it to do just even those small things. But it gets worse when I have to do a big edit like adding effects or text to something. It even freezes on preview play (i.e. when I'm in the program and I'm trying to preview what I have created so far into a project). It doesn't help that my PC fan whirrs like a mother every time I load this app. But, funny thing is that all of the other editing apps I have used in the past have never done that, except for only rendering projects. And if that wasn't bad enough, the program will quite frequently glitch the video upon render preview/preview play, and on the final render itself. Furthered by the fact that sometimes, when it freezes, it shuts itself down for no orderly reason. This is a big problem for me, especially if or after I have made multiple saves to a project and then suddenly it just decides to quit on me. So, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this program. Unless, somehow, this gets fixed in the foreseeable future, the freezing/glitching is extremely infuriating for me, as it makes it more difficult to edit anything properly and as a result interrupts my focus.
