A porn game with lackluster porn but actually fun mechanics.
The game has a story, but it's not tied into the X-rated content at all. All the porn scenes (which require an external patch to view) are one-offs with nameless, and often faceless, strangers. You get one or two images with maybe some animation, and then, that's it. They're also all optional, and viewing them is actually detrimental to the game - they're tied to events that take up time (a resource) which could be better spent crawling through the dungeon.
The game itself, however, is pretty fun. People keep comparing it to Slay the Spire, but don't be confused - this game is not a roguelike, though it is a deckbuilder. There are multiple dungeons to run through, but each dungeon is the same each time you do it. Between runs you can use the resources you gathered in the dungeons to upgrade cards, or buy/upgrade relics.
There's only maybe 3 decks that are viable, but that's fine because, again, this is not a roguelike. You likely won't be playing this game a second time after beating it. The fun part is not trying lots of different decks; it's the conflict/reward cycle as you power up your deck. There are several massively overpowered cards, and the game gets pretty easy towards the end.
The game isn't super buggy, but the UX feels unpolished, and some of the card translations are confusing or just straight up wrong (eg. "repeat 2" when they mean "effect happens twice total").
It took me 3.5 hours to beat. There's not really any replay value after that.
Honestly I wish this wasn't a porn game, and that they'd instead spent that time adding polish and balance. But still, overall it's a fun game. It's definitely not worth $18, but I could recommend it at $8.
