Gameplay (grip? never heard of her): -Its your time to fucking send it like a madman and still be fast cause this game allows you to drive like your drunken father. -If you don't like sending it, there's still cars for you sissy twats like the GTR (How the fuck does a brick with 4 wheels do well on technical tracks? DEVS) -In all serioussness very rewarding gameplay system and some cool (still unrefined in some places) driving techniques -> Practice makes you good. Multiplayer (if I see another myogi lobby im commiting war crimes): -Some lobby crashes, no matchmaking system (yet), some rubberbanding issues (as of this update netcode got a bit worse) -Get ready to be rammed by a random french guy! Customization (not my thing I suck at making liverys): -Cool addition to the game unless your livery making skills are like mine and you just slap random decals hoping it will be awesome. If you do love touge culture and touge racing I highly recommend giving this game a try (when I mean try, please spend more then 5 hours on the game PLEASE) final veridict- git gud or git rail'd

no matter what settings you change, if you disable steering assist (baby mode) the steering sensitivity will ALWAYS be too high on a controller. 5% directional input will send you flying in that direction. How can a dev make a game designed around driving but absolutely bomb the steering controls? your guess is as good as mine

as far as touge racing and initial d related genre, this is about as close as ive ever came across for drift racing games, aside from sega intial D games but they're too stubborn to release games online, but the graphics on this game, game play, controls and the feel thats different with each car is impressive, a great variety of maps, the drifting system is like most drift racing games, the concept doesn't change, hand break and steer and counter steer and gas pedal to maintain the drift, the maps really emphasis alot of the techniques you'd get from initial D, they even have a tofu delivery mode to train you, im true fan of the genre and im excited to see how much more this game will grow, its a great game and its only early acess so farm, and ive had more fun than any recent need for speed game, give it a shot if you're a real initial D fan

This is probably the most fun I've had in a racing game since a certain Italian plumber kart racing game.

I read through a lot of reviews prior to purchase. Most said it takes a little bit to get used to the physics but once you do its an absolute blast. Can confirm. If your an Initial D fan boy this game is your dream come true! The time attack has actual challenging times to beat with a good leaderboard system. The multiplayer base isnt huge but its enough to have some variety in server choice and most people are pretty decent so its set for some good battles. So far I think this game is worth the $15. I play on a simagic alpha mini and just threw on my asseto corsa wheel tune and it works great. The road surface feels pretty good on the wheel too i might add. Not sure how it feels on controller, i have seen some people using controller and still shredding so i assume pretty dece

20$? No! Join the Inital unity server which has a free version with continued support by the modding community. Just ask for the modded version people will redirect you. Initial unity is the beta version of this with a lot of difference in physics and touge tracks.
