I've tried the game for a while , feel is good but i can say web holding mech must be more smooth. Esspecially when i catched any web , my mobility is interrupt for 0.1 or 0.2 seconds. I want to more quick when i jump to a web from the other webs.

Fun little game - however the monster hunting stages should be either droped or rethinked.

Really good game and concept! There are some bits that should probably be polished when it comes to progressing, but even in its current form its really addictive!

I got really addicted to this game. There are lots of exciting moments while you try to climb upwards and very satisfying gameplay that will make you want to keep playing more.
If you're looking for fun and addictive, physics based roguelike platformers, this is the game for you.
I also enjoyed the unique mechanics and upgrade system that gives the game high level of replayability.

Drip or drown?
Drip.
Found this game through the Steam Next Fest demo release, and was positively surprised to see it release very shortly after.
It is a relatively simple concept done meticulously well, as uncommon as it is for small projects to not aim for overly ambitious goals, it was definitely a good choice here.
For the majority of my playtime I have been playing on my Steam Deck, and it is a very solid game to quickly play while on the go. Got five minutes before doing something? Turn on deck, play a round or two of Verlet Ascend, still got a bit of time left.
It is great performance wise, currently running at a watt limit of 12 and has no percievable lag or stutter at full hd running at sixty frames per second.
There have been some occasional levels generated before the mob room, where the plateau has a large space that makes it difficult to continue climbing without movement upgrades.
While that seemed unfair at first, I did end up finding different ways to gain enough height regardless. Shooting the ground to make a slope to run up, combining the run velocity and jump velocity in a way that generates enough jump height to the next geometry, as an example.
While there's some edge cases in the terrain generation, being forced to think outside of the box and then solving the scenario with quick thinking definitely feels rewarding.
I have also been surprised by occasional unexpected finds, as an example I got the first blood achievement through an environmental kill on a pacifist run.
I also found out it is relatively easy to cheese the game by sticking to the world edge and repeatedly wall jumping back and forth while carving your path upwards with the sword.
Using the shotgun with the level three kickback upgrade on the horizontal level to blast past every opponent at great speeds is my favourite so far.
All in all it is a very solid movement platformer, wholeheartedly recommend it for quick-play entertainment.

There's some neat mechanics here so I wish the game was more polished, then I'd strongly recommend it rather than barely. There just needs to be more to it. The levels are procedural based but it doesn't matter much since there are so few elements in them, so they all feel the same. 6/10
