STORY OF SEASONS: A Wonderful Life Reviews

The only thing this did was remind me why I never finished the original over the course of many, many years.

Really wanted to try this one out but the game crashes on the beggining

If you played Harvest Moon:A Wonderful Life on GameCube then you'll love this nostalgic gem.. I've had no issues with crashing or not being able to load into the game personally but can't speak for others. ^^

They messed this up so bad i modded my Wii again so i could play the original and other great GC games!

The game brings back nostalgia feeling, but perhaps that's the end. I do not like how the camera being swing around. I prefer games with static camera such as SOS:FOMT. I do not know why game developer keep moving towards 3D camera while the 2D sells well. You do not need nice 3D graphics to sell the game. You need contents!!

i’m glad they made a remake of the game that took over my life in elementary school but idk if I’d recommend this to people who aren’t nostalgic for the original. it’s pretty slow paced & lacks challenge compared to farming games that have come out more recently. i’m about halfway through year one and am finding myself putting my character to bed at 5pm bc there just ain’t that much to do. it is one of the few farming simulators where your kid isn’t basically a decorative object tho, so I’ll give it that. & younger me would have loved that you can play as a girl AND marry nami unlike the original version where i had to settle for gustafa lol

Great bringing back of memories. However, on the PS2 version, things were MUCH cheaper. The developers need to update it with lower prices. I still don't have the Processing Room. Thank God I got the Seed Maker free from Daryl.

Gameplay is much better than the original, especially if you only played the ps2 version that have performance problem.

Very fun! There are some things that this one changed compared to the old ones that I wasn't a fan of ( Like the changes to the shipment box and the people in the "mines" always getting in you way). Other then those small thing I am enjoying it very much for now.

Where to start... personally I think if you enjoyed the GameCube version of this, you will enjoy this game as well. I would say though to wait for it to go on sale before picking it up. The game starts off great but with most farming games you eventually get into a pattern of what a day turns out to be. The last year was a slog as well as I had nothing to do after the summer. But even with that, I'd still recommend the game, but on sale. It isn't worth full price
