While you could call it a "Minesweeper Variant", that just doesn't cut it. It's a well crafted rogue-like with a variety of playstyles, lots of different abilities and items, a great cast of characters, and outstanding music and sound design.
The one thing I could complain about is that for some characters, it feels like there is a "winning" strategy, a state where if you can get to it you can just win. But, naturally, due to the nature of rogue-likes that isn't always guaranteed, so you definitely get variety in there. (Especially if you avoid those strategies once you find them.)
Overall, great game!

Nice implementation of a good idea, featuring an elegant and simple design which is fun from the very beginning. Not infinitely replayable I found, and a bit easy without the option to skip to harder difficultiers.

it's great looking but i think it's really overpriced -- would guess that's a big reason it didn't take off more
