Its a good buy but with the newer dlc packs the Byzantine Empire dies in about 5 years after the game starts and its really impossible to be the Byzantine Empire because the Ottomans kill you off.

Just another scam from your's truly. They dont even look Roman or byzantine, the horsemen look like nomads. For the love of god, do not by these unit packs.

This DLC gives your horses a really sweet coat of armour when you play as Byzantium. Love zooming in to look at it.

This DLC, like other visuals, improves player imersion. With the game's focus on the crusades these models are more likely to be noticed in one's game. It however is most ideal for Byzantine players. This DLC pairs well with; * Early Eastern Clothing Pack (more Byzantine attire) * Legacy of Rome (enhanced Byzantine experience) * Mediterianian Portraits Pack (more Byzantine attire) * Songs of Byzantium (songs to immerse one's self into the role) * Sons of Abraham (for better simulation of the Orthodox Church) Otherwise, say if one is utilizing the Sword of Islam DLC to play a Muslim Ruler this unit pack simply ehances the feel of conflicts with the Byzantine Empire. As a cosmetic option it's completely optional and unnessisary- though desired should one's aim be to enhance the Byzantine experience.

Are you a Byzasphile? Do you lay awake at night wondering why the heck your glorious cataphracts are stuck looking like filthy Latins in service to a trumped up Italian who pretends to have domain over all of Christendom? Do you feel that some realism is lacking when you're in full REMOVAL MODE? Are you sick of restoring the glorious, enternal, magnanimous Roman empire with avergae looking units? Well worry no more friend! The Byzantine unit pack is here to spice up your gameplay with beautifully rendered units graphics!...Oh and I guess the other Eastern Orthodox countries are there as well...except Russia and the like, you need to pay an extra 2 dollars for them...because Paradox
