The controls took a while to adjust to, but overall I experienced no lag or choppy game play. The maps are also visually stunning. The price is also very very cheap. 6.5/10
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/tcc5KWt6wj0 Given the budget price, especially on release for less than $2 USD, this is an easy recommendation. Is it a great dragon flying experience? Of course not. However, it's a competent one, especially if you use a gamepad over trying to use motion controllers to control the dragon. There are 3 maps to choose from. You do have somewhat realistic gliding physics. It can be challenging to control the dragon and fly through the hoops. You have to fly through the hoops to maintain momentum and fly longer. The longer you fly, the higher you'll go up those leaderboards for bragging rights. Game is running on the Unreal Engine 4. On my RTX 3080, I was getting mostly 90 fps. There were no settings whatsoever. You can use motion controllers (as a gamepad), a gamepad (tested on Xbox One), or KBM. I think I got my money's worth. It looks nice. I think the world could have used some more animations, such as trees swaying, the water running, and maybe some other signs of life. It is a very much static world. The music is nice enough. Again, this is budget priced. If you have low expectations, then this game may surpass those expectations. Crashed living breathing being into side of mountain. It sounded annoyed with me as it happened. 10/10 If you can't fly well immediately stick with it, you'll have a moment where it clicks and you can't even remember what you were doing wrong, then you'll remember... but eventually you'll get it.
