after a little bit of playtime I can confidently say, that as of right now the game is not worth it. If they ever actually add in a career mode or a tech tree like they had in balsa flight sim, it could be decently fun. as of now though its just a somewhat bare bones creative sandbox that should absolutely be an early access title.

A very good tech-demo, and developed by former team member of Kerbal Space Program... that said however, as a commercial product paid for at full price & in it's current state; I unfortunately cannot recommend it.
+ Procedural parts system is nice
= [strike]Limited scaling options & many parts lack scaling at all[/strike]
+ as of the April 2025 update, more fuselage & ferring/nosecone segments now allow scaling.
- Editor lacks radial symmetry and other symmetry modes, also lacks a grid or precision option. Placement of decals is also very tedious, buggy, and lacks any sort of mirroring options.
= Painting system works well, but is somewhat dragged down by those lacking QOL features.
+ "Good enough" aerodynamics model, but maybe bit more arcadey maybe compared to KSP.
- Physics includes new fidelity and new features such as volumetric which is nice, but I have noticed slightly more problems with asymmetrical aerodynamic forces & 'phantom forces'. Additionally the game doesn't seem to know how to cope with canted wings or tailplanes and will sometimes cause the craft to vibrate violently.
= "auto trim" works well enough, but seems much less versatile than in KSP - also it would be nice to be able to manually tweak aspects of the 'fly by wire' system, as despite what it tries to be: "auto trim" does not work flawlessly with every kind of flight profile.
- Wheeled-vehicle physics is erratic and unstable, ground collision seems very unstable and prone to freaking out. Alot of roads around the island have invisible bumps and seams in their collision.
- Water physics is equally strange and unstable, wings especially behave oddly sometimes suddenly gaining massive amounts of speed from nowhere. Boats will sometimes just disintegrate at high speeds, and it feels like the craft is just 'sliding' on a solid surface of water.
- "Fancy" dragging dials look pretty but are a nightmare to enter data values into accurately, even later versions of KSP got this "right" by adding a optional text-entry field for nearly every part setting.
- - BIG general stability and performance issues, framerates are fine - but the game runs at very inconsistent speeds, and UI elements update way slower than the rest of the game. There are also just alot of other small bugs pertaining to loading and switching modes and selecting stuff in the UI.
- Alot of graphical bugs & bad fidelity, not the dev's fault, just a problem with the specific Unity engine shaders. (they're very similar sort of artifacting / noise / clarity problems to the issues with UE5 )
The game is slowly being developed, so hopefully once some QOL/UX stuff is improved and stability of the engine is improved I'll be changing this to positive. It is playable in it's current state, but expect a huge amount of headaches as this is much less polished than even some early versions of KSP.

this is actual peak
extremely customisable with a very good interface, realistic (enough) flight simulation and an incomprehensibly good soundtrack. what the actual hell. i really hated flyout so i was going in with zero expectations but i think i just found my game of the year
