As an Asian, it pained me to see that it costs ~4000g to learn how to fucking cook rice
Edit: y'all i'm pretty sure some of the shit you make here breaches the Geneva [strike]suggestion[/strike] Convention

Solid gameplay loop, simple but pleasant story. Translations aren't the best, but that's alright.

Now I'm not one for reviews or anything but this game is pretty fun to play! Translation is a bit iffy sometimes but not enough to deter you from the game. The process of alchemy is simple and easy to learn for beginners to the genre. The NPCs aren't just like "hey gimme items", they have a little bit of story that comes with them which I find pretty neat! I haven't played that far into the game but overall its a very cute and comfy game that you can definitely enjoy!!

Annoyingly addicting. I played for a few hours straight.
Some people have mentioned bugs, but I personally haven't encountered any yet.
A good alchemy game without a timer on specific quests. Exactly what I needed.
Looking forward to more updates.

This game follows the very adoreable Nayc in his efforts to become the best alchemist he can be!
In terms of the look of the game, it's bright and it's cheerful. The characters are all drawn in a very cute way and things pop and animate in a pleasing, satisfying way.
The gameplay is essentially what you would get if you made an entire game about crafting. You wont find action stages to explore or survival scenarios to endure. It's all for the joy of crafting, so you should know if this is the kind of experience you want! If you love MMO crafting or the crafting part of any game, you will love this. Unlocking different areas to send unlockable crafters to. Watching them get better at their job and return with more resources for you to use to further your alchemy. You will have sales targets to achieve and special orders, but there's never really any pressure and you can go at your own pace. The most satisfying thing by far though is filling out pages and pages of your big collection book of everything you can craft, as well as your badges and achievements, unlocking bonuses every step out of the way.
As far as pacing goes, it can be easy to get a bit too obsessed with making everything... Or get tempted to make the bear minimum and rush. The trick is in finding a balance I'd say. The game does a good job to prompt you to try different systems. For completionists though, there are quite heavy requirements to unlock some end game things and get the last few achievements, so i'd pace yourself with that too. I felt that requiring such a high amount of collecting to unlock some important end game stuff was a little much. But I still enjoyed the game enough to power through it!
It's a pretty chill time generally and something I honestly struggled to put down. Thats the mark of a fantastic game, especially for the price. I say go for it!

***Short answer: GET WHILE ON SALE BELOW $10***
I have loved Kemco on mobile for quite some time, though I do dislike how there are still IAPs when you purchase the full games (not applicable here). However, this is a fun, simple game to play while listening to Youtube or other multitask options but that is why it is only worth less than $10. For the full price, I would expect much more engaging gameplay (i.e. Atelier series-esque) or more to explore in the map, but it is basically make things, sell things, do occasional tasks, read stories, and do a weird puzzle to collect. If this was on mobile, I'd pay $5 and probably enjoy it way more as time sink. (positive prior to mid game)
****UPDATE after the madness:
To get to the end, it took several hours of mindless grinding and there were so many questions still unanswered. At first, I really like this game. But once it got the mid-end game...I felt the pain and it was not the fun kind. Suffering complete and so glad to uninstall.

This game is somehow very reminiscent of the classic Atelier games---and by classic, I mean the ones that were for PS/PS2 (Atelier Marie~Atelier Iris). However, it's very simplistic in comparison, so it could be considered a good introduction to the genre. There is a story (and optional side stories) that you can do at any time, material gathering mini game (NOTE: it is *not* countdown timer, so don't need to rush it), and the alchemy system. The characters are very amusing and, as you get to know them, become more endearing... Despite their... odd names.
The game is about resource management and gets a bit of hands-on understanding, but it's fairly forgiving to the point that I could consider this a cozy game.

I've only played for an hour at this point but wanted to leave a review for others because this game doesn't have many yet. For the record, I'm playing with an Xbox controller and it's working perfectly.
I can tell that I will absolutely love this game. It's not too difficult, but challenging enough with how you acquire and use resources and energy. It's very cute and you can tell a lot of love was put into it. Sometimes the translations seem off but nothing too off-putting, and as a bonus for me I can switch to Japanese easily in-game to practice the language as well which I wasn't expecting.
My only hesitation now is playing this on steam or the Switch, but I decided to go with steam for now for the achievements (even though the game has plenty of in-game achievements). I'll update this review as I find more, but at this point I would say go for it if this game looks like your style.

I have not experienced any of these bugs another reviewer mentioned for PC. My guess is it's just that reviewer's setup.
Anyways, this game is really fun if you're into management type games. It revolves around you making alchemy supplies, selling them at the shop, or helping people by giving them to them. There's also a simple minigame you play by sending adventurers to gather materials used to craft alchemy supplies. You keep doing this on loop and advance by unlocking upgrades, new materials, and new alchemy recipes. There's some thought that can go into coming up with the optimal strategies, but it's not too complicated (and not necessary).
The game can feel a bit repetitive at times, but the story serves to break that up and isn't bad. It's not gonna win any awards for writing, and it's pretty weird in parts, but I found it interesting at least. Overall I find it a fun and relaxing game to play.
