A delightful and charming blend of Super Mario World and Wario Land. Explore stages, collect secrets to unlock more stages and powers, and there's even co-op.

This is a great, great game - not only a great plataformer! The controls are quite responsive, the jump feels great - and the graphics are awesome, so much fun. The humor is also on point, even the deadline enemies are fun to die to. So, this is one of the few games where I die and laugh! My only gripe would be the overuse of a few enemies and gimmicks, e.g.: the evil sun. The hardest kind of challenges are a bit frustrating, with this is compensated by the fact that the majority of those levels are on the short side - which is great. Congrats to the dev, hope he gets a great future on game development!

Really tightly designed and fun platformer, like Super Mario World if it had a sense of humor and loved throwing a thousand bullets at you all at once. Criminally underappreciated.

A game that harkens to Super Mario World artistically but is very much its own mechanically. Incredibly genuine and clearly communicated from the devs mind, what little writing the game has is charming and the character designs fit perfectly. Difficult if you want it to be, this game's difficulty also calls back to Super Mario World, which some may not remember gets quite difficult near the end. If you boot it up and feel underwhelmed, the badges you get to improve his base moveset fill out the game perfectly and really allow you to push yourself to perform or find a way to take it a little easier without feeling like any of them trivialize the game. You won't find yourself missing a run or spin jump button after you see some of the things Garbanzo can do. Really deeply fantastic and I truly believe especially with how pure it is that it can stand next to other retro greats, even the originals and be standing tall

i've been interested in this since i saw it was pure 1100% positive reviews and i gotta say? it really, really holds up. the comedy is funny, the gameplay is great, it has a wide range of difficulty where most levels are pretty simply beating but perfecting it can be hard as hell, absolutely a gem you should check out
