Voice recognition not working correctly, planes quit responding, sometimes all aircraft fail to respond in click mode or voice mode. Wait to purchase until bugs fixed.

This was my first ATC simulation I have played on PC other than euroscope for vatsim. One of my friends recommended this to me and I have to say it definitely has the potential to be a amazing ATC simulation because it allows you to create custom sectors and scenarios, devs are also very active and they also listen to the community which is great. I definitely think this ATC sim will become very realistic. I have been loving this sim so far but like other reviews have said if you are completely new to ATC simulations or even flight sim you might have trouble understanding some concepts but I highly recommend trying this game even if you don't know anything because if you just try to give some time learning ATC you will definitely enjoy this simulation.

After going through the tutorial scenarios, I can genuinely recommend FlightLevel. Understand that FL is currently in an Alpha version, so there are some rough edges to the program, but it seems to be mostly bug-free. So far, the bugs that I have encountered are not game-stopping and are easily remedied. The tutorials start out easy and then work through slightly more complex concepts. You might want to reset and review the tutorials more than once to get familiar with the controls before tackling challenging scenarios. FlightLevel has a lot of potential, so I hope the developers continue their work. But even in its current state, the program is fun to play. Go for it.

Loving the game so far, great to finally have a game with standard ICAO phraseology. As a 738 driver it makes a change to some other games. Ok, there a few bugs, some of the speeds when read back by the aircraft don't match the speed given eg M0.78 read back as M0.59 etc. and some of the aircraft don't respond to instructions (rare) but I just assume they've had a radio failure. Haven't tried the voice control yet so can't comment on that but sounds promising. Keep up the good work!!

Very slow progress. No updates since January. Do not buy!

The game is overshadowed by two primary concerns: pricing and technical issues. The current price point seems a bit steep, especially considering the amount of bugs that disrupt game play. I remain hopeful that with diligent attention to these concerns, such as addressing the technical bugs and possibly reassessing the pricing strategy, the game could be much better
Overall:
The ATC simulator is highly recommended for anyone interested in aviation. It provides an authentic en-route ATC experience without the stress, and the ability to customize scenarios and sectors makes it a great option for users who want to tailor the experience to their preferences. While the tutorial may be difficult for beginners, the simulator's responsive developers and solid foundation make it worth the effort to learn.
Pros:

The ATC simulator provides a solid foundation for an amazing experience.
The developers are highly responsive and open to suggestions, making it easy to provide feedback and request improvements.
Users have the ability to create their own sectors and scenarios, allowing for a more personalized experience.
The color-coding system, particularly the use of red, adds an element of realism and intensity to the simulation.

Cons:

The lack of prior knowledge of ATC-related concepts could be a slight issue for some users. While the simulator provides a tutorial, those with little to no aviation experience may find it challenging to understand without a significant time commitment.
This is obviously a very early access game with multiple issues. That being said, the UI is really easy to learn and use, and it doesn't take a massive amount of ATC knowledge to grasp what needs to be done. The tutorial missions are helpful to learn the UI. The scenarios are interesting as a start. There are multiple issues - there are times where I have to restart the game because the UI stops responding to commands to individual aircraft, there are aircraft that never announce themselves into the sector, and you have to move what traffic is responding to your inputs around them, etc... The development team seems very active and open to hearing suggestions/bug reports and I can see the pure amount of potential this game has to offer down the road.

I am an ATC student and i wanted to practice in home, not only at work. BUT...The game is not ready to be played. There is a lot of bugs, like when i give a direct navigation the plane does not changing it route. sometimes when i clear new flight level i can not clear another FL to the same plane. Sometimes i am not able to give instructions, i do not hear read backs, also false read back but the plane does the right instruction. And there is a lot of more things.

The first attempt since London Control to simulate a modern european enroute ATC environment. The basics are already built in and it is an enjoyable experience in early access - if you know what you are doing. The devs are quick to respond and new dev versions get published almost every other day. Caution: If you have no idea about air traffic control (yet), this game is not for you (yet). The lack of exercises makes it necessary to either create your own airspace or at least exercise. If you are familiar with ATC operations and want to shape the game together with the devs in their discord - this is for you!
