An amazing little game. Gives old hunting game vibes. Seems easy but is really difficult to get a hang off. But that is what makes it one of the best. Great atmosphere, great game play, and pretty realistic for what it is.

Good God is this infuriating in the right way. Deer hunting will almost never go your way, yet you'll be trying over and over again to get a big buck.

A genuinely fun and challenging little hunting sim. Most hunts take one to two minutes, making Public Land Hunter perfect for a quick break. Definitely worth the price.

I've only played a little bit so far, and I'm really enjoying it. The music is fantastic, and I'm a sucker for great pixel art. I love the addition of quests and mini-games, and even some character customisation. Perfect game to just chill out and get a couple of quick hunts in. Seems like a ton of value for $5. I highly recommend.

The amount of content in this game is crazy for the price point. I thought I was getting a deer hunting game, but what I got was a compilation of amazing hunting and fishing modes, all of which have their own charm. It's a very niche game, but I'd recommend it to anyone who likes retro gaming or hunting games.

having fun so far, but on my first duck hunt with slim the game froze after i shot my second duck.

This game is the first in a while that has completely sucked me in! The art style is great, the music is amazing as well and fits really well with the theme of the game. Honestly one thing that surprised me was how good the gunshots sound, they're really punchy and just make the guns really satisfying to use. Another thing I really like is it's not just mindlessly walk around and shoot a deer when you see it, I've found myself poring over starting map figuring out where the deer are likely to be, and where they are likely to be going, before figuring out the best place for an ambush. You have to take into account sound, wind direction, visibility and even foliage! Finding deer tracks is just incredibly satisfying and it's one of my favourite things about the game. The best thing is all of this has just been about 1 mode! There are several more modes on top of my favourite which is the deer hunting. The dev also seems like a really nice guy, and responds to bug reports with impressive speed! Cannot reccomend this game enough, and at the price it's at it's honestly a no brainer!
