So fun, full of such charm. A delightful point and click romp. Runs well on Linux!

Not my favourite in the series but it is a fun game. The voice recording for the receptionist could do with some cleaning up but the rest of the game is very nostalgic.

It's short, easy (as it does not have many interactive spots), uses blatant stereotypes for characters, and the final scene requires baiting a militant feminist into expending her ammo with sexist remarks. Takes around an hour to play through.

This review is pretty mixed. It's fun don't get me wrong; I adored the original game back in the day and seeing there was a way to play it now had me very happy. I swear there are lines from this game which still pop into my head nearly twenty years later. That being said... The remastering is not good. The charm of the original models and their simple painted on faces is gone, replaced by rather iffy "realistic" models which range from generic (Nick himself) to genuinely just bad (Sils looks horrific and not in the good way.) I even noticed that Nick's beard isn't rigged to his face so when he speaks the beard just... Floats? Props in characters hands also don't seem to line up with the hands, animations can bug out and clip through themselves; overall it just feels very lazily done. I am not a game maker by any means and I am sure a lot of work went into this but when a good chunk of the original charm has been scratched away in order to 'remaster' it? It ultimately just feels a little hollow which is very sad. With how limited gameplay actually is (As it's a fairly short point and click game) my recommendation for Nick Bounty fans to relive this game? Watch a playthrough of the original on Youtube.

Great and very short game of the infamous Nick Bounty Series, once again with a charming detective and unique art style. This time with a femme fatale who is very fatale, crazy character desing and an ending that will blow your mind.

Pros -Good voice acting, -Good dialog, lots of humor, -Decent puzzle design. -Solid controls, entirely playable with mouse. - Noir themed. - Hot spot reveal tool - Some included concept sketches. - Good UI, on screen mouse controls for everything. Cons -Very short, I reckon you can complete within the hour, I left the game running a bit. -Very few points of interaction within each scene. - Graphics are fairly crude, the black and white is fine but there is lack of texture, some scenes look OK but overall not great. I guess its an inside joke that the main characters face looks like it was made 20 years before the rest of the characters. - Not sure if its a bug or intentional but you can pickup a particular item in the detectives office multiple times. If its a bug then its a bit sloppy and doesn't give the best first impressions. Regardless it has no real impact on the game. Overall its was enjoyable enough. It gets a recommendation mainly because of the humor. Definitely wait for a sale.

If you played the two previous games, you might just as well play this one, too, but I honestly didn't enjoy it much and think it's not as good as the others. Lacking in both, jokes and puzzles. Kind of short, too and feels like it just cuts off at some point. Don't recommend it unless for completionist satisfaction.

This was great! Maybe not as long or as hilarious as The Dame with the Blue Chewed Shoe but it was still a funky humorous point n' click game. If you're a fan of Nick Bounty you're likely gonna like this one too - for the price it's asking it's a steal!
