Indoor Kickball is a novelty game. It's pretty much a bot against you. The fielding is hit or miss (mostly your player just holds onto the ball) trying to throw your opponent out, and probably is the most glaring issue with the game overall. Throwing out the player is featured in the trailer, but it mostly doesn't work.
The kicking is directional depending on which side of home plate you stand on. You can use your right stick to either kick a flyball (back of the kicking box) or a ground ball. The real treat is the sound of the kickball when you kick it and unlocking new indoor kickball fields. I turned off the music since it was unbearable, and you really saw how the world just seemed so empty, although fun and colorful.
I purchased Indoor Kickball through the Steam Summer Sale and consider it to be good nostalgia for a reduced price.
