A great space survivors game. Pretty tough for the first few hours until you flesh out the meta tree a bit then you start to roll and it gets pretty satisfying.

I'd call this a little goofy. Let me explain why. You start with beginner maps which are sort of a tutorial mode. You'll learn what to prioritize whenever new equipment becomes available to choose from, and it seems that whatever you don't pick will never show up again (I'm not 100% certain, but it seems to be that way). It that's true, then every new equipment offer is a last chance to get whatever items are shown, and some good items, or even great items, might make more sense to pass up in favor of must-have items that insure being able to survive. After a few maps in the difficulty ramps up a little, and which ship is used can make a big difference because some of them have really poor firepower as the first weapon. Okay but why did I say it's goofy? Well after having acquired several upgraded weapons, the ship doesn't really bullet-hell as much as it makes these wildly random and weird kill-patterns. I can't really tell where it's safe to fly to half the time, which makes it fun, because I have to stay on my toes. I think I bought this on sale, and it's nice for some time-frittering.
