This game's purdy good!! :D Blocky baddies all day. Cool elemental powers. Upgrading said powers. Stats: it's got 'em! A pretty decent game with an alright title. More waves and waves of enemies that you'll take down with ice, fire, earth, wind, and magic. Ooooh. ahhhH! This game makes me feel like I'm a blocky, "Final Fantasy Black Wizard" on steroids-lookin' dude that has all the powers of Captain Planet and I'm taking down multicolored block dudes that shoot/leave behind black pollution goo, all whilst upgrading my powers like I'm playing Vampire Survivors (a great game). I dig this game. Ben/10 would recommend... to a friend... not pretend... all truth, no sin... esta bien... chin... end... fin...

If you're not gonna patch all the bugs and balance issues, you shouldn't charge money for this.

A cheap, fun game that I'd heartily recommend to anyone. It's very early days and there re a couple of relatively small issues, but nothing game-breaking and the developer seems to be listening to the feedback. Buy it!

Great Survivors-like that offers a limited set of abilities for any run and have you adapt to elemental attacks and elemental resistances among the enemies. In between runs you're able to upgrade a wide array of stats to improve your chances for the next run. Played the Demo for a good 5 hours and loved it. So far the full version seems to be the same but with more abilities and more tightly balanced. Challenging without getting frustrating.

Fun little game here, plenty of spells to mix and match so you won't get bored of the game in like 2 hours. The enemies sadly do not evolve or anything, the bosses are a joke in terms of mechanics, lots of stuff to upgrade with the currency to get stronger, achievement wise it's pretty strait forward and easy. It definitely needs more polish overall.

Looks good and plays well. Love the voxel graphics combined with nice light effects. Dev seems keen on community input into future plans too.

First review so here we go. I want to start by saying that this game has a lot of promise, I feel as if this is a really great early access version of what it offers, however I have a few glaring issues that make this game unplayable once you get pass easy difficulty. But I still want to mention the things that it does well and allows it to stand out a bit in the genre its in. Pros 1. Camera (kinda): So I really like the ability to play with an over the shoulder camera view, not the traditional top down. Only problem here is that enemies spawn behind you a lot making it basically useless after the first 5 or so waves. 2. Progression: The game has alot of the standard upgrade systems you would expect, however, here you can upgrade the cards you get during a run which allows you to speed up your build and feel powerful more quickly. 3. Art: I really like the minimalist approach with this project, the art style along with sound help add pop and make each ability feel powerful (well most). Cons 1. Enemies will move into the ground and reappear very close to the player, this sucks because the play area is severely limited compared to other in this category, and on top of that the collisions with enemies can literally kill you if your dash isnt up. My suggestion would be to not allow so many enemies to constantly spawn on your location whenever you move, or make the play area open so the player is never forced to move in a certain direction. Personally I dont understand why stick the player to one area. 2. If you arent playing with auto cast, I have noticed that other abilities will straight up not cast if you press the corresponding button while basic attacking, and to make matters worse they will still go on cooldown. This happens virtually every game I play 3. Not that many abilities or passives to pick from, which is another big reason this feels like early access. I feel like most if not all games like this have a lot more abilities and skills to pick from, I have played for about 4 hours at the time of writing and I havent came across anything new since I cleared the first map. All in all I really want to see this game really stand out it is well on its way, I just need the game to be in a playable state for those who want to challenge themselves. As of right now I think this would be very frustrating to play for anyone thinking of picking it up

A mostly good Survivors-like game that is held back by a few odd choices. First, enemies teleport in front of you if you move too far away from them. This will often get you killed since you'll dodge out of one bad situation only to find the clear spot that you went to suddenly just as dangerous. This also seems like a poor choice when there are spells that benefit you if you stand still. You can't get a little distance and then stand still to benefit from the perk while the enemies catch up when they're already there before you. Second, there doesn't appear to be any invincibility when you are hit. Combine this with the slight knockback you receive when you get hit by an enemy and you often find yourself being pinballed between two enemies until you take a great deal of damage or die. This is made even worse by the first problem, where enemies can literally teleport in your path before you have a chance to react and dodge them. That said, it's not a bad game. It doesn't really bring anything new to the table, but it's a passable game in the genre. It just has some kinks in it that can be very frustrating. If enjoy these types of games this one might be worth picking up on sale. If you aren't the type of person who picks up every Survivors-like you can find then I'd probably pass on this one. There are many other better choices you can get for your money.

Important note before you play: do NOT set the frame limit to “unlimited” as it will literally use your entire GPU. I have 100% completed the game, so it might seem odd that I write a negative review. This game is simply unpolished and incomplete. Many easily fixable things like spelling mistakes, inconsistent/unclear writing, UI inconsistencies, balancing issues etc. . With the announcement that this game likely won’t get updated anymore so I doubt we’ll get any of the problems fixed. To give you an example of what I mean with “lack of polish”, if you go to the achievements, you’ll notice that there is one called “Island purger”, which uses the same description as “Fields purger”. This is just a tiny non-issues, but there are many that do influence the game, like the fact that anything can go outside of the arena (enemies, attacks, even fucking pickups) except for you. Or how they don’t tell you what the difference is between “Casting speed” and “Cooldown”. Or some spells simply don’t function properly. I can write down a laundry list of things that could use improvement, from QoL changes to almost gamebreaking bugs. But this would ultimately be useless because it probably won’t get updated anyways. This game feels like a first project that was slapped together in a few weeks only to be abandoned after noticing that effort needs to be put into improving the current game. Regardless of this review, you can still get a couple of hours out of it (see my total hours to get a rough idea how long it’ll take to complete). Just be aware of the amateuristic mistakes ahead. Note to the developer: don't take this review too personal, I do understand why stuff like this happens.

Great fun, very short (2-4 hours), spells are diverse and feels great. Replay-ability only suffers because it lacks an endless mode, I would easily play this for another 50-100 hours if it existed, as there's no goals left after the game is finished right now. I'm looking forward to following this games development, the Dev is onto something great! <3 It could benefit from: Slower passive-ability power-scaling as caps are reached fast. More passive options like critical damage, extra projectiles and more auto-attack related traits. Reduced economy, its very fast to max everything available.
