TLDR: So far, this game is 3 hours of pointless grinding, and a fight with the camera you can never win.
Not a single steam review at the time of writing. Now I know why.
As far as I can tell, you can get through all the early access content in 3 hours. This includes 3 small maps, and thrilling quests like "kill 3 wolves", followed by "now kill 5 wolves". Most quests involve killing more monsters than exist on the map, which means you have to travel back and fourth between maps to respawn mobs multiple times.
You may get the impression that your main antagonists are mostly odd-numbered wolves. This can't be further from the truth. The main enemy in this game is the camera. It will get suck on every bit of scenery CONSTANTLY. I can't stress enough how annoying this is. The only work around is double clicking on the mc portrait, which centers the camera on them, but separates the party. You have to double click again to reassemble them. You have to do this every 30 seconds or so.
P.S. Oh, you want to save your game? I'm sorry, you can only do that in a tent or a bedroll. Each map has only ONE of those. And when you reload your game, all the monsters have respawned again. Enjoy.
