I SUPPOSE, FOR A GAME THAT SELLS FOR LESS THAN $2.00, ONE SHOULDN'T HAVE 'HIGH EXPECTATIONS. HOWEVER, i HAVE BOUGHT GAMES LESS THAN $2.00 THAT WERE AT LEAST PLAYABLE...MAYBE EVEN ENJOYABLE. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A TRIPLE A GAME...THAT'S FOR SURE. PROBABLY NOT WORTH DOING A REVIEW...BUT, IF THE DEVELOPER IS GOING TO CHARGE MONEY FOR A GAME LIKE THIS, THEN PERHAPS A REVIEW IS IN ORDER...SO THAT OTHER GAMERS KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.WHAT COMES TO MIND AS I ENTER THIS 'GAME WORLD' IS THIS: POOP-CRAP. I KNOW THIS IS DONE IN THE UNITY FAME ENGINE, BUT I ALSO KNOW SOME GOOD GAMES USING THE SAME...SUCH AS THE LONG DARK. AS FOR THIS GAME, BLOTCHY GRAPHICS, SO NO POINT SETTING TO HIGH RESOLUTION. AND WHAT IS THE GAME PLAY? WELL YOU CAN WALK AND SPRITNT, AND THAT'S ABOUT IT. NO SELECTING OF ITEMS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL. YOU CAN, OF COURSE, WALK THROUGH SOLID TEREES AND WALLS. OONCE YOU REACH THE SECTION WHERE IT SEEMS YOU GET A GIRL CHARACTER IN A BACKPACK, YOU CAN WANDER AROUND FOREVER WITH NO IDEA WHERE TO GO NEXT, OR EVEN IF THERE IS A 'GO NEXT' TO SEGMENT OF THE GAME. I KNOW...PERHAPS I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER...BUT ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT, IN PAST, I HAVE TAKEN A CHANCE ON LOW COSRT BUDGET GAMES AND HAVE BEEN SURPIRSED AS TO HOW GOOD SOME OF THEM HAVE BEEN. SELDOM PERFECT, BUT SOME HAVE HAD INTERESTING STORIES, REASONABLY WELL DEVELOPED PLOTS, AND AT LEAST A MEASURE OF CHARM. AS FOR THIS ONE, MY GUESS IS THAT THE DEVELOPER WAS TRYING TO EMULATE THE LAST OF US, AND IF SO, ALL I CAN SAy is that this is what you would have gotten, if that game had been put into the hands of an amateur...or an absolute beginner who hasn't yet mastered the craft of game developement...and yer, would put out a game like this and ask money for it? It's only a buck, so I am not going to go to the trouble of asking my money back, but i am definitely going to delete this one from my aaccount as I don't even want to see it showing up in my library. I gave this game twenty five minutes to 'impress me'. Fair enough, I think, as most other games often impress me in less time than that. As for horrible intros, I don't even mind those, if the game then gets off to a good start and, once into the game play, keeps it going, and is able to keep the player interested in continuing on. So, if you are looking for good low busdget games, know that there are much better options out there. And now, for the sake of quality control, it is time to delete this from my librqary.
