pretty fun. love the various gnomes designs. Trial and error sorta approach to getting through stages because some situational gnomes are either vital or useless in defeating bosses' shticks. there is a clear synergy in certain gnomes and an expected way to play them that limits creativity. otherwise the game is easy to cheese if you know what you're doing

They make you lose to get achievements. This is, by itself, is really annoying and a bad choice.
The game doesn't quite feel polished enough and has annoying design choices. Other reviews have captured these issues. @BeekerTheCat's review captured it well.
I feel like I should have loved it. I generally like the idea/setting, art style, humor, etc. It just didn't keep me hooked the way several other games in the genre have.
I still think it would be worth a try if it seems interesting to you, maybe on sale. If in doubt, watch some gameplay footage.

I almost liked this game. I had trouble on steamdeck reading the cards in certain views - so putting together a deck was hard. The mechanics weren't introduced well - like you can add some bling onto one of your card slots but it is only for that mission. Like I said this was close to something really fun but it just didn't come together for me.

The is so much that i dont like about this game here are the few thought:
1. the deck is fix with 10 card
2, the level up need a lot of grinding
3. if you receive a curse card it will stay in you deck till the end of the deck
4. No skipping card, you have to choice the card or reroll with will cost gold
5. The level up point in some character cost 4 or 6 point to take effect which is two level
6. the talents have no dynamic in it.
7. some of the build just don't work (poisen build)

This game is great! I simply adore the art style, it's fun and dynamic, each card is truly unique, you can easily tell if it's an attack card or a master card, without having to double check the description. The story has an interesting spin, taking the well-known fairy tale characters and putting them in a completely new context.
In terms of gameplay I appreciate that the progression is challenging enough, to not be too easy, but still ultimately doable. It's really fun to build a powerful deck that's amplified by the heros' abilities, so that you can easily slice through the enemies, who seemed impossible to beat at the very beginning. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and hope our little revolutionaries will embark on new adventures in the future!
TLDR: great art style, engaging story, fun gameplay, would recommend

I really like the concept - it's a puzzle style rogue like - BUT THE AMOUNT OF GRINDING IS ABSURD! You have to play like 2 hours for one hero level (you need two levels to improve a f**** statpoint) - that's not fun and who got time for that? A lot of rng too - I really tried to like this game and it has great potential: But seems rushed and i can't recommend at this point

i dont know how to really put this into words but the game feels.. unfinished.
like, all of the dialogue/exposition in this game is written in plain, flavorless text with no animations, sound effects, or voice acting. often in paragraph form, i should add. despite all of the text you are given to read, multiple basic gameplay mechanics are not very well explained at all (bling, curses). some enemy/card descriptions are also vague, cryptic, or inaccurate.
the graphics aren't bad. i don't mind the artstyle, although it certainly isn't without its issues. there is a problem with the ui's visual feedback, as the game mostly lacks screen transitions, so you'll often get these very awkward instant jumps between scenes that can be quite jarring. maybe some people like that, but i definitely don't. not really related but i also find it weird that the surrender button for missions is inside of the settings menu (?), which makes no sense at all.
all that said, i still think this game is fun (in spite of its balance issues, which i won't go into). i just don't really think it shouldn't be marketed as finished because it definitely isn't.
