I debated if I would recommend or not. I like these types of games a lot & thought I'd try this one. I know it shows I played 11 hours, but I would play a little bit & then stop for awhile. Playing recently, I'm realizing what's bugged about the game & makes it too hard to play beyond easy mode.
The worst problem is this game makes my computer run like a jet engine. The last time I had this issue was when Diablo 4 came out & it had severe memory leak problems. For such a simple game, it should NOT be taxing my computer like this.
The typos in all the info in the game starts it off, where if you want info about the items you can buy, it's messed up. It gives info for the camera when you click either room or type detector. Then in the store, the descriptions for room detector & type detector are swapped.
I hadn't bought & used the tools in the game until I started playing again recently & trying to actually advance. But it was one tool, "type detector" that showed me there's more wrong with the game.
It said there was a "door open/close" happening. Door open/close is a pretty obvious one & I didn't see it, but reported it anyway. It took it. That led me to believe maybe anomalies aren't actually being shown, which makes the game hard to play. I tested it using the detectors & it's not the only time it happened.
How can I report anomalies & survive if they're not being shown?
And this is why I can't recommend this game. If there weren't these issues, then I'd love this game.

This game is a broken, buggy mess and will delete your save file if you exit a map, which wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that unlike basically every other observemup out there, maps are locked behind linear progression. Don't worry though, because the game is SO buggy and broken there is actually an exploit that allows you to play it at all past the first map.
How to bug your save file into being playable:
1. Enter the game, and enter the first map.
2. Hit exit map, and go back to the main menu.
3. Exit the game from the main menu.
4. Restart the game, and then choose continue.
You will now find that every stage is selectable behind the garbled menu text layer. Keep in mind though that the moment you leave any of these maps, win or lose, it will lock the rest up again. But temporarily unlocking them is just one game restart exploit away!
Anyway as amusing as it is that the game is so broken that it wheels back into playable, this is one of the worst observemups of all time and it's shameful that the developers are still taking people's money for a build this nonfunctional.
Bonus easter egg: you can click on lightswitches in the first couple of maps to turn the lights off in a room. This serves no practical purpose that I can discern in the current build of the game, but if you can't find the switch to click it again in the darkened room you have created, you have to exit the map to fix it. It sure would be a shame if exiting the level had unbelievably dire consequences or something :)
