I really enjoyed the atmosphere and story of Noblesse Oblige so I can't recommend it enough! Stuck on a gloomy island surrounded by mysterious people hiding some grim secrets? Yes please! I was very intrigued the whole time and had to play a couple of times to uncover each character's secret! I really liked how flawed each character is while somehow staying likeable. The more adult tone of this story is definitely up my alley and I might be biased in saying this is my favorite story set in this world so far, but it really is. The scope of the game also allows to focus on a smaller cast of characters and they felt more complex to me.

I had mixed feelings about this game. im more inclined into romantic stories and this one doesnt hold back. S E G G S!! after the post nut clarity, i realized i finished the story in 2 hours. Its kinda like a 12 episode anime, where you have a general location setting with plot for 10 episodes and then ep 11 is the summer or autumn festival and then the ending. 5/10

Significantly shorter than Creme de la Creme, but it's a nice little story. Wait for it to be on sale, it really is rather short.

A beautifully written romance. The writing is impeccable - and I do mean Impeccable, without even the handful of errors you normally see in these games - but the characterisation is somehow better still. The three romance options are very well written and very different. Some of the secondary characters could do with a little more detail, and as always it would be nice to have more romance options, but those are minor complaints. It was nice to see small callbacks to the previous game in a game that didn't carry over a protagonist - which is quite the rarity - and I found the polyamorous romance plot especially charming.

This game is a text adventure game with meaningful choices for stat raising, a wide diversity of choices to create you own unique story, and a very fast paced and interesting story. I loved every second of the game although it felt short to me because I was immersed in the story. It's a good length and a great game. Worth the full price! It made my day! I am a regular purchaser of this developer's games and this is one of the best I've played. Can't wait to buy more Choice of games stories :) I hope I never run out lol.

having played all three of the author's works, i must mention there's some x factor in work that makes it very easy to settle my mind into a "role", and it's a rare occurrence to me even though i play quite a few role playing games onto the actul materiel here, i regret to say that its unfortunately underdeveloped and the ending is very rushed. also feel that the story would benefit a lot if written with no romance in mind

For the price I really enjoyed the experience, it's more like reading a book, it was very immersive. It is classed as a 'novella' by the author, so keep that in mind as there are 7 chapters i think so not particularly long compared to their previous works such as Creme De La Creme. Since the story is shorter there are less characters and there's more of a deep connection with the Romance Characters, it has a nice 'isolated' feel to it too. I suppose the only thing I'd comment on is that there are certain points that are left to the 'imagination' of the reader rather than being clarified though personally I just like knowing rather than having to speculate but that's more of a preference. 7-8/10.

A short but sweet addition to the Creme de la Creme universe. The writing is deeply evocative of the isolated setting and tense atmosphere of rural Jezhan, and the characters are compelling even when they're unsympathetic. Note that this game is much shorter than HPS's other works, and that it'll end much more quickly than many other CoGs, despite having the same price.

This story is a bit shorter than the other I read by the same author. It was an interesting, moody read for the most part, and Im not sure if thats because the setting, set the mood or because the setting just did a really good job of reflecting the mood of the plot. Either way it was just a little more dark and somber than I was hoping for. I liked the fact that there were fewer characters to focus on this time. I felt like i really got a chance to get to know 2 of the 3 LIs. the last one to show up story wise, was a bit short changed in your chances to interact with them, and also the plot throws some stink eye at them, making you seriously question getting involved with them at all. My only downside was that the ending was really extremely rushed, and because of a plot twist (sorry no spoilers here) and my general good intentions as a human being I lost the chance to end up with either of the two LIs i was interested in, despite the fact that I had a great relation with them going up to that point. (Sigh) The story ends within a few short paragraphed pages after that, and it just sort of left me feeling disappointed. So my final verdict is yes, this is worth the read. I and you can always choose differently, well if your willing to do something pretty desperate to be with the one you choose. I just dont think I can go along with something like that in the name of love, even if its only in a story. as always YMMV.

While shorter than the writer's other games, Noblesse Oblige lends itself easily to multiple replays because of the different character routes and the range of choices (some big, some small) the MC can make. Although it might be possible to get the full story in one playthrough, I didn't manage to ever do it and it was fun learning more about everyone each run. The characters are as much of a Mess as promised, but are endearing despite (or because of?) that.
