The game is currently in early access, so a lot of work still needs to be done to bring this title up to a full release. I'm really looking forward to what's in store for us. What has been implemented so far was very short and sweet. It is a tense, slow-paced survival-horror type experience. There are many small scripted moments that are easy to miss, so keep your eyes and ears open. The game utilizes some dynamic hand poses, which are neat and not often seen in VR (yet?). There is some light puzzling, which I'm looking forward to being expanded upon in a full release. The game had a similar sense of tension as a game like Madison VR, but because FOTLG has weaponry, it is more satisfying because you as a player have some agency in your own prolonged survival. I would recommend this game if you are chasing that ever-fleeting adrenaline rush.

If You Would Like To Check Out My Game play & Review You Can Right Here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUteIjeDePc&ab_channel=AlexMcLarry%27sLife I like the cult setting and over all idea, but when it says "survival horror" I was expecting something more liner, not wave based combat. The addition of an inventory is VITAL to this games survival.

WOOOOOW this controls so bad! for starters: pushing forward on the analog stick moves you forward, but letting go doesn't stop you. you have to pull the stick back to stop moving. The gun isn't aligned with your hand if using an index controller, so you have to twist you hand in a weird way to aim. The game is riddled with bugs, in the tutorial alone, I encountered three bugs: the slide on the gun pops off with each shot. The gun teleports when dropping it. I had to quit out of the tutorial because the game wasn't registering that I boarded up a door and it just locked progress there. OK, so I try to play without the tutorial. Wait a minute.... this police station seems familiar... THIS IS A UNITY STORE ASSET! The same one used in VRchat's Ghost game world. eh whatever, how does the core game play? Bad. basically you have to survive 12 hours with cultists wandering around. and they charge at you. That's all. The cultists models are very familiar, I'm pretty sure they are also store assets. It was just an overall bad time.

Flock of the Low God.. When buying this game in its current state.. Remember it is in Early Access! The game is 1 - 2 hours.. Depending on how scared you are. Flock has HUGE potential to be one of the scariest games in the VR world. i would recommend to anyone to try it out. did it have a few bugs? Yes.. and I spoke to the developer and they have taken these on board and im sure are onto fixing them already. Developers seem to be really passionate about their game.. Its not just a money grab.. They seem to want to see this succeed and become a staple VR must try game. The first half of the game is packed full of Jump scares.. Followed by the 2nd half becoming in my opinion more of a wave shooter. (this does not mean it takes away from the horror, I was on panic mode quite a few times). Yes the game still needs work, More content, More combat options etc.. But the potential is there and worth the money for the experience the first half of the game provides. I will update this review as and when updates come arrive.
