I tried out this app because I needed something that could tranlate MIDI Input to Keyboard input. It does just that very well. Easy to start up and keybind. It registers many inputs at the same time without any delay. I do not know if it’s my fault since I’m kind of new to this app, but the only nitpick I have with this app is that I have to restart the program if I disconnect my MIDI keyboard so it registersters the keyboard again. But the programs startup is fast so it’s not big of an issue.
I think using a MIDI keyboard to play videogames will have healthy benefits. I try to learn Tekken 8 with a MIDI keyboard, and I’ve noticed:
1. It’s way more fun
2. I can hear when I push the buttons harder than nescesarry.
3. It can probably be easier to remember combos, because you connect sound cues to your inputs.
I,ve had a positive experience with playing Tekken 8 through a MIDI keyboard and I’m happy there is an easy application for this activity on Steam :)
