Great basic idea done wrong. It has a defective camera to the point where in game, I COULD NOT see what I was doing or even CONTROL the camera, in addition to the lack of variety of playable races and lack of variety of classes to choose from. Not to mention the gameplay is extremely bland, uninteresting, and repetitive! MY advice? DO NOT BUY THIS VIDEO GAME, DURING EARLY ACCESS; there are several free-to-play games that are BETTER worth your time and money, on Steam! (Including "Trove"!)

First, I want to say that the devs are seemingly on the right track and they do have a genuinely amazing feeling for features and gameplay. The game is just not there yet. While playing, every time I thought "It would be so nice if I could do/build/delete something, I found that exact feature after a bit of looking. Refund built structures, level up the king, upgrade blocks instead of deleting and building again, it's all there, albeit hidden and to be found in the ugly and confusing UI. This shows me that the devs know what makes a good game and that they care about the little things. What the game is lacking, however, is mostly content and scope. Only 3 different maps that barely feel different to one another, due to an (extremely OP) per turn income mechanic that literally makes resources a non-issue after the first map. It's early access, I get it, but right now it's not enough for me to actually even finish the game because I know know I'm not going to experience anything new after the first map. It's also very, very easy. Not knowing what I was doing AT ALL, I easily beat the first map without ever having to restart a wave or trying very hard. I found myself skipping the building phase over and over to increase the challenge, but the attacking armies are just so laughably small that it really doesn't feel like an epic siege at all. The game would benefit greatly by at least tripling the amount of enemies, while increasing building blocks health tenfold. Tier 3 blocks break after a skeleton so much as looks at them, drastically decreasing interest in building anything, which brings me to my final criticism. I never wanted to build much, especially nothing cool looking. In the beginning you don't have the time/resources to build a lot, (also the questionable limitation to 4 out of like 30 blocks in the quickbar makes it tedious and annoying to switch shapes) and after you find out how easy the game is, you don't even bother anymore. You build a box around the king and put troops and turrets on and around it. That is literally enough for the entire game. There must be an incentive to build more, and more pretty. That is supposed to be the point, no? The maps should feel WAY more distinct, why are there no mummies in the desert, sandstorms, quicksand, undead camel riders, or yetis and vikings in the snow? And of course, more everything: Maps, troops, weapons, turrets, traps, block materials, and so on. I hope with development, all of this will come. Because the devs seem smart, capable and skilled to me, I recommend this game despite all of my criticisms.

Very fun especially if you like engineering things. Game definetly is in early stages but there is a good amount of content and feels very intuitive. Only real complaint is once you hit round 10 or so it starts to get a bit laggy turning settings down might help a little but i think it's just due to the amount of units.

Cute game, has good potential, can't recommend it in it's current state, but, definitely something to keep an eye on!

Great potential as a game, I had great fun on it especially considering it a early access. I am looking forward to see this game grow

Even in early access its pretty fun. I've finished the three available areas on Normal, Hard, and Very hard modes. Lots of different enemy types with different modifiers. There is still a lot of room for improvement, and the devs have a discord where they are open to talking advice on what to improve, so there is a good amount of communication. I won't give my thoughts on the balance of the game, what is over/underpowered and whatnot, since the balancing, enemies, traps, and weapons will probably improve/change a lot before the full release.

Great start to this games development, lets just hope they see it through. The potential is there for certain, but as many have stated it has the same hangups as most early access titles. It needs more content, and the content it has needs to be more fleshed out. What it is there currently is a great framework to build a very solid game from. So again, fingers crossed.
