So Much Fun! building your guns is fun and seeing ways you can break the game, gotta say its a bit annoying though when you do crash the game and the FPS gets so low you cant move which means you die. Great replayability and all around fun.

this games optimization, exploration, and fairness is ass..
Music is the same obnoxious droning on and on and on exploration is forcibly tied to unlocks paired with godlike landscape clearing 45 FPS lag that gets worse as you level where not only the lag is bad the game engine and dev seems to think Latency should make your character warp around meaning as soon as the enemies start to gang bang you near the end its GG by force not by skill..
Complete avoid this needs a better dev or game engine
Hard Doubts this will ever fly because its clearly engine limitations and incompetence.. Lots of missles on a god game should not tank a 3090 paired with 64 gigs of ram at 6000mhz on a 7800x3D AMD

A solid Bullet Heaven game. With the bonus of so many of the numbers and how they work being very transparent. Something so many of these games leave obscured, if not utterly hidden.

Very good 16 bit Vampire Survivors with a powergaming focus on upgrading weaponry (as it should be?). Has a good assorted of in-run challenges and exploits; dodge roll as an unlockable perk for one of its characters (with suitable "frenzy mode" alternatives for others); plenty of achievable bonuses and perks between runs. It's a pretty nice feeling accelerating guns until they make microtonal music ("BRRRRR") and living out your Jessie Ventura Predator dreams. After 6 hours I've basically worked out how to spam it, but still interested to see how it develops. Would like to see the ability to keep guns between runs or endless mode so you can try and finish the map of the game in one run!!
GOD MODE SPAM INSTRUCTIONS : Get the shotgun; increase rate of fire and clip size as much as possible. When the uncommon perk "Submunitions" (whatever it is called) comes, get that, and power up the following submunitions power-ups as much as possible. You should have a spread of fire that ricochets all over the screen, wiping out normal hordes almost instantly. Get the 360 firing perk (rare) and the "cone" becomes a radar sweep of submunitions ricocheting. Keep increasing damage and rate of fire/reload - you will have the Grail of Survivorslikes... a pulsing full screen "flower" of exploding lead. It's beautiful.

Fun game! Performance suffers a lot when guns get crazy, which is usually the fun part. And I mean it gets real bad, like one frame every few seconds. Unlike a lot of games, the frame drops actually kill you. I've had a ton of runs with a crazy gun that should be in the bag but I die because it's literally impossible to dodge.

Surviving the last minute on Steam Deck is quite hard with only 2 FPS on some weapon configurations.
Other than that, a great mark in it's genre, I'm hyped to see what will come next for this gem!

Put 6hrs in already and find it quite fun, but I have to echo the FPS issue. To be transparent I am playing on the Steam Deck, but at this moment it's the only game in my library of its kind that literally grinds to a halt. Might help if bullet opacity could be fully reduced to zero as with explosions. All that said, still recommend it, just hope to see some better optimization.

Why aren't we talking more about this game?!
I own Vampires Survivors, Brotato, Halls of Torment, Deep Rock Survivor, Karate Survivor, Death Must Die, Yet Another Zombie Survivor, and more ....
This game?, this is already in my top 3.
Gameplay polished to perfection, lots of weapons with tons of mods to experiment with, a huge variety of enemies with different mechanics, a drone capable of using previous weapons you owned....
But the most surprising feature is its huge persistent map.
You reveal it as you explore it, a bit more every run. It has multiple biomes, each with their own bosses and mini-bosses, unique enemies, unique sites, unique environmental hazards....
I had never seen anything like that before in this kind of games.
If you're a fan of this genre, you simply cannot miss this one.
It's top tier list material, hands down.
9/10 (because it's still in early access)
