Best spent 5 bucks ever
1. Tons of content
2. satisfying ragdolls
3. very unique classes = many ways to play = a lot of replay value
4. very funny satire of work place culture and capitalism
This is a great early access title and is already close to a complete game to me. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys beat em ups and satisfying ragdolls in games.

It’s alright overall. The animation is engaging and the story is interactive, just kind of confusing. The main issue is the combat. It feels unrewarding and really braindead, you mostly just spam buttons. Since it’s still in beta I’d hope they improve it. Right now one button does three actions in a set sequence, but it would be way better if you had three buttons and could choose the actions yourself.

constantly bugged out during the MANDATORY TO PROGRESS online vs mode. without fail, i get stuck on a black screen, and cannot therefore progress as i cannot win. genuinely, just remove the MANDATORY part of it, and replace it with ai only, this game cannot handle it.

this game is where you are a depressed middle aged stickman who hates everyone so you just beat them up in a gang beast 2d gameplay, also your under payed with very addictive gameplay I have played in a 2d game really fun multiplayer mode as well would recommend.

I like how this game is a silly mash the enemy to death type game and also teaches how companies are uncaring for their workers and consumers.

This game has so much potential it is ridiculous. It's got a solid start so far, but can go so much further with the right amount of love and attention. It is Early Access so I'll give it grace, but do hope that the Devs continue to welcome feedback and add to the game. In short, solid gameplay that can get a little repetitive quick - depending on whose playing.
Stick it the Stickman has a really basic storyline, yet its just so awesome. The tale goes that the player starts out as a lowly working class worker that goes all the way to the top (literally - of the building) to take the boss' job. (Yes... insert your South Park reference here... I know you're thinking it). The bottom floors have basic enemies, where the player starts. As the player makes their way up the landscape/environment and enemies start to change. Sometimes environmental dangers pose a threat to enemies if used correctly (such as windows and electric dangers). There is a lot of potential that can continue to be tapped into in this realm. There is, and this is a big one for me, only one way to attack in this game - and that's by pressing one button. There is variation in the attacks as the player picks up cards. The cards stack up in linear order and the character carries out those attacks in that order. Is it a limitation in the game? Maybe? Read on!
The graphics and visuals are probably what draws players to play this game. As the character carries out their attacks, enemies go flying with fun physics effects and the environment shakes (and breaks, sometimes) with some serious impact. This is probably the best and most fun part of the game. There is a limit to it though as pressing a single button just feels way too repetitive. Why isn't there an ability to interact (or pick up) something in the environment? Jump or roll off it or even throw it, use it as a shield, maybe an explosive... something! Just feels a little plain in this aspect. The sounds and music certainly contribute to the atmosphere of the game. Major impacts are heard and attacks feel like they have some variation in their sounds when the character makes an impact with an attack. This domain I thought was done quite well.
So, do I recommend it? Yes, but with caution. The game certainly needs time for development and additions. The cycle was fun when the demo finished, the current Early Access progress is fun, but it's really hitting a bit of a frustration knowing I'm hitting only one button. There is a solid campaign included, a nice mini-map that changes as the player progresses, multiple different classes and upgrades, nice technology trees (yes - trees), ability to drive cars (oddly, but cool - maybe demolition in the future?), and one of their best features: multiple different gameplay types. Yes, this is a stick fighting game at the end of the day, but it tries and varies its approach. The game is a platformer primarily, but becomes a scroller (either vertical or horizontal) depending on the mission. The game is fun, but certainly would recommend doing your homework before purchasing. Really hope development goes all out for this game, has so much potential to be from average to great. Be aware it is only two player split screen (not 2+).
