Posting Announcement of Removal After The moneyflow from Collectors came Game will Maybe not be removed. Developer dont know what he want to do now. There will be a Free Demo - Why so ever. Developer knows that only collectors bought it and is okay with that, sitting and waiting for the 2 Week Refund time is over? There is NO Communication on the Hub, Only the Removal-News. it was sold in beginning at 11 Dollar, after the Removal Announcement he dropped it to 2 Dollar, Cheapest was 1.6 Dollar About the Game: its a Low Effort Battle Royale with Bots. so:After 9 Months, game not got removed. PROMOTION ! thats all ! Avoid this Developer and Shady Praxis of ABUSE of STEAM RULES for PROMOTION of his GAMES ! (he does this on Multiple of his games!!!)

It's basically what you would expect from a battle royale game these days. Except this one has no servers, only bots, and they aren't even that good. Plus, there is no first person so aiming is hard. Not recommended, go play PUBG instead

PolyRoyale is a small little BR/DM game for everyone out there that like LowPoly art and don't want to deal with the big BR games out there. It's great if you want some "relaxing" action for yourself or some friends. Fight against bots (up to 32) or kill your friends - it's up to you, find weapons, armor or drive a car... it's up to you ! Don't expect an triple A experience, it's a good indie game for a low price. What I really love is the passion of the developer. After reporting some issues, he fixed it asap and pumped out some updates. I am glad I could support this guy and hopefully he will release some great updates in the future too ! (Sorry for my english, it's not my native language)

Alright. I jumped into this to just see how it is overall. I have a few impressions and some notes. Let's get into the options first though. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3222621689 You have the option to play solo, as a duo, or as a squad. You can select one of eight avatars. A game can host up to 32 players and bots (combined total). You can choose players only or to fill out the up to 32 player count with bots. There are two maps to choose from (military and city). The host can select friendly fire on or off. You can choose endless or timed (shrinking zone) matches (this toggle feature is listed as in beta). And you can choose to wait for your lobby to fill or just start a match and have people join as they like. Currently, the gameplay menu just has language select. There are a fair amount of options in the video and audio section. Control mapping is listed for k/m and gamepad, but gamepad is listed as in beta, and you will need to remap almost everything, keeping in mind that controls in game only show k/m. Mouse sensitivity is default 1.0, but you almost definitely want to cut this probably in half. It's all peer to peer, so this is a game well suited to player hosts and playing with a group of friends. At the time of this writing, there is essentially a zero player count, so if you're playing this currently, you'll be playing exclusively against bots unless you actively arrange for friends to join. I knew this going in, so this isn't a negative for me. I obviously haven't had an opportunity to test matchmaking, so I can't speak to how well that works. The actual maps look pretty cool. Very colorful and filled with various assets. There are plenty of places to search and to hide, much like a PUBG (albeit these are significantly smaller maps here). You also airdrop into the zones the same way. Equip-able items can be found laying about loose as well as in lockers. The music track is pretty upbeat and uptempo, but most likely, you'll want to turn this off and just play your own tunes. There hasn't been an opportunity to try out in game chat, so no thoughts on that. You can also enable subtitles via the audio options, btw. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3222621633 So, after playing around with some bot matches and just running around the maps checking them out, I have some general thoughts regarding gameplay: The actual controls seem pretty tight once reducing mouse sensitivity. Once mapping controls to suit a gamepad, the game was functionally fine on the Steam Deck. Zero compatibility issues. Collision detection has zero issues. Although the gun hit boxes are totally fine, it appears as though neither you nor the bots take damage. This was further confirmed when I tried to blow up an explosive barrel. I was unsuccessful. You can see bullet impact. The damage is just missing or dialed down to the point where it's not noticeable. Speaking of bots, they seem to have issues finding a player (me). And when they did find me, after taking a couple shots at me, they'd just run off. Vehicle controls are kind of Halo-esque, and I enjoyed driving around a bit. Parachute drops are very fast, and you are very likely to drop into the water surrounding each map, after which you hoof it to land of course. And, at the top of some ladders, instead of exiting the ladder, you end up in an animation that puts you right back on the ladder. This seems to happen with the taller buildings. To me, this has all the hallmarks of a game that could be a lot of fun. I don't really think the fixes needed are too complicated. Maybe just address some of the more significant issues like bullet damage and bot intelligence, get an official gamepad layout dialed in, and resolve the minor issues like ladder dismounts. Once those are set, this could have a real chance. I think the current price of $1.99 is nice. IIRC, once a game gets ten reviews, Steam will increase the game's visibility. Maybe hosting a free weekend will help with that, and ideally hosting a second free weekend after meeting that goal will help to push player counts. As would getting the game into the hands of a few streamers and their audiences. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3222655223 So...to recap: address the few gameplay issues, get the game in some people's hands to increase visibility, get to ten+ reviews, and I think the game has a real chance. It is certainly worthy of consideration. I'd definitely play in some real matches against actual players. I'm giving this a positive rating because of the lack of a neutral/informational rating on Steam (despite that being available via curation) AND the potential this game has. Via my curators, this will be marked as informational. For now.
