Wonderful cosy game and worth every penny! - Especially how there is lots of replay-ability due to the randomised cat locations!
Not a challenge, but a delight. This fairy tale cat hunt is the most charming of the trilogy.
Ever Seen A Cat? 3 continues the cozy cat hunt with a new storybook twist and it might just be the most charming one yet. With a fairy tale theme that adds an extra sprinkle of whimsy, this entry builds on everything that made the first two games great while introducing just enough polish to keep things feeling fresh.
You’ll be spotting around 30 cats per level across 9 short stages. The cats shuffle between plays, giving some light replayability. Art is once again top-tier, all soft lines and cuteness overload, and the music is upbeat without being distracting, just enough bounce to match the magical theme.
There’s a generous zoom range, solid quality-of-life options (like color vibrance and movement sensitivity), and thankfully no timed achievements. While the hints recharge quickly (2 minutes for the first, then every 30 seconds), they do give away the exact location, so use them only if you're truly stuck.
The catch? It’s very easy. You’ll find all cats within 30 seconds to 4 minutes per level, and while this entry feels slightly trickier than the previous two, it still leans heavily on the casual side. And if you're achievement hunting, be ready to play each level 3–4 times to reach the 1000 cats achievement. There’s also no way to save mid-level, so don’t quit out halfway unless you’re fine restarting.
Still, if you're in the mood for a short, delightful break, this is one of the most polished and feel-good entries in the genre. The theme alone, storybook levels filled with cats in fairytale settings, makes it well worth your time.
