2k is so greedy, lazy and pathetic! Sharing data with advertisers, trackers, or other third parties can legally qualify as a "sale," especially when it's exchanged for financial or other valuable benefits. Once your data reaches these third parties, they may further share or sell it, creating a chain of access that extends far beyond the original company. This process can ultimately lead to your data being collected or scraped by data brokers. This puts your own security at risk. In certain states, such as California, you have the legal right to opt out of this kind of data sharing. Borderlands aka Take-two and 2K games have updated their games even their older games. THIS INCLUDES COLLECTS USERNAMES AND PASSWORDS, IP LOCATIONS AND BROWSER HISTORY DATA. The Borderlands franchise has been turned into spyware and the ToS has been updated to be more intrusive. I'll never buy another Gearbox or 2K game again.
