I want this game to succeed so badly, it plays well, the environments look amazing and the game modes are fun. My only issues are that there is the net code is pretty awful because it takes me like 10 mins to get into a game some times and that there is 40 people playing this game right now. Please Wired Productions, improve your marketing and get people playing this amazing game.

The combat and driving is solid and pretty fun and the game runs well, although it's quite grindy and currently only has 2 game modes and a handful of maps. Right now the player base is pretty low but you can make your own games and bots are an option and are competent enough to keep things interesting. I also want to give props to the Devs for going back on the Free to Play design and requiring a 3rd party account.

So I've played a bit of this game and I can honestly say it is dead. Its fun to play around with some bots but there is literally like 10 people on at any given time, and you see the same people on over and over. And the worst part is half the "Regular" players are cheating. On demand invincibility, hyper fast movement, and obvious damage modifiers.... if you do play with real players you have a good chance of just playing people who you will shoot for an hour and they will get down to no health, then take no more damage. And don't bother reporting because no one cares. Is the game silly and fun for a little bit? Ya, but once you get tired of stomping bots, IF you can find a game with players, its not even really fun because those one or two players that no matter what happens will fly across the map and detonate the bomb, or just casually drive through a hail storm of bullets taking no damage makes you just want to not play. I was curious about how it has so many positive reviews after seeing them and buying the game and how so many people like the game yet no one plays..... and well most of those reviews have almost no play time. Like under 10 hours and for good reason. Idk if there is a future for this game but as of now, its pretty dead. Save your money, not really worth it.

I absolutely recommend this game if you liked twisted metal. Its a fun, nothing but nonsense game. But in a good way its silly and fun and the details are beautifully done. You can tell the DEV. team loved making this game.

Season two of Twisted Metal will drop soon, and then you'll need cars that fight other cars. These are those cars! It's not a huge game. It's more like the starter kit for what is presumably a live service game that will receive updates on a regular basis. What they have is excellent. They've come up with an intense new spin on capture the flag called killa konvoy where you're trying to find and deliver a bomb; it's really a well designed, dynamic, infuriating esport. The racing mode is pretty cool, too, but it would need far better tracks to steal the spotlight from the bomb delivery game.

Very addictive for a game with (at the moment) only two modes. Maybe we should learn something from the Orks, learn to enjoy the simple things in life, like krumpin, and looting, and krumpin some more. Anybody want to join me for some krumpin and looting?

Here's the thing. I like driving games like this, especially when you can shoot other drivers with a gun or a talent or whatever have you. That's fine. I LOATHE Rocket League. What is the point of a game with CARS if they spend more time up in the air than on the ground? What's more, is that the games of Rocket League where you had a player that could just hover about in the air were insufferable. This game has that same issue with the ONE car class that has the ability to jump. That single ability alone makes any of the other vehicles you feature kind of pointless. So too, does it make that bombing game mode kind of pointless. Should have focused more on the racing aspect. Crash Team Racing with Orks would have sold better. Dunno if the devs still check this, but you can tell by looking at the reviews when they may have acknowledged that the game is dead. Big responses in May. Hardly anything in June or July. It's been that long and the player count isn't budging.

Very fun vehicle combat game. I actually was recommended this game by one of the Devs on a forum post about vehicular combat games. I will say it's a little bit of a bummer that this is largely an online only game with no campaign or co-op modes because there are very few lobbies available to play in and all of them are in West Europe (I live in the USA and couldn't find a single US-based match). I can't really fault the devs for a lack of demand for a Warhammer 40k Orkz-based vehicle combat game as that is obviously a very niche group of people that this type of game is catering to. However, the mechanics of the game are very fun and all of the vehicles are a blast to play as. Even if you are not a huge 40k fan I think this game has very good bones and mechanically is very fun with lots of things to unlock and good replayability. The only thing I would caution to would-be buyers is I don't know how long this game will remain active and it would be a gamble if at the time of reading this review you end up forking over $20 USD and can't find online matches to play in.

WAAAAAAAAGHH!!! This game is so awesome. If you plan to play on Steam Deck make sure to adjust the settings a bit. Runs good tho. Player count is rather low wich is a damn shame. Where are all the 40k fans hanging around? But do not let this discourage you from buying this game. Games get filled by bots and even this is just fun. And you level up your ranks unlock stuff etc.
