Even with the free 18+ patch, this uninspired RPG Maker game is just a bore to slog through

I honestly recommend this game, in spite of its flaws. Purchased for $.99 but to be honest, I would actually be willing to pay the full 5 dollars. It's honestly just a charming little story about family and relationships. It's fairly short, as the negative reviews have said, but I don't think that's really a bad thing, it generally does what it sets out to do narratively, even if it has an anti-climactic ending. In many ways, it reminds me of Gone Home which also has its own, often overlooked charm. The game does feel somewhat unfinished. Some of the dialogue implies certain actions, even seeming like directions, that are never actually available to take (your mom and dad both tell you to shower before they do other things with you, but you're never able to actually take a shower, only saying "I don't feel like showering right now" and you never get to actually interact with your parents after that). If you're looking into this game for the 18+ content, it's a very brief scene tacked onto the end of the game with a single CG. Frankly, it'd be nice to see that part of the game expanded into its own narrative with some actual development, but making games is difficult and time consuming. It's not terrible, even if it's not much. Overall, I think it's a fairly sweet and enjoyable narrative game. It's not everything that it could be, but it's really not so bad, despite the negative reviews. Definitely worth it for $1 and if you don't mind a really short game, it might even be worth $5.

When I saw the concept I was low key hoping for some cross between Alice isn't dead/Highwayblossoms and maybe heartstop in terms of surprising rpg maker romances that blew me away. instead it was like an hour (hour and a half if youre me and don't notice you can pick up what looks like a chip back on the ground but is a ticket.) Short little trip where you find your sister real quick then fuck her ex out of nowhere. Its kinda just lifeless and unfinished. I feel like maybe there was like a whole hour of content that was cut or never finished. Its 3 bucks and still too much. Go play highway blossoms or heartstop or listen to alice isn't dead or like anything. This kinda fully sucks.

I wanted to like it but it's far too short, especially for $5. (I got it on sale for $1 so I'm not really upset about it.) This could be great if it was expanded and the romance was fleshed out more. If the developer ever remakes this as a more fleshed out experience I'd definitely be interested. Music's nice, tho.

Don't let the playtime fool you, I simply fell asleep while the game was running. You actually get about 15 minutes of play time from this game, the majority of which you'll spend walking around. The in-game menu had made me think there'd be some old school RPG elements to the game, but that maxes out at having one character follow you as you continue to walk around. The whole game gives me "I wanted to try out the mechanics of making an RPG" vibes. Don't get me wrong, the art style and music is cute and, considering the lack of substance in the game, certainly doesn't overstay its welcome but it's not really worth spending money on.

Playtime: 35 minutes
The game costs a whole 3,99 for what is essentially 15 minutes of repetitive, deprived of any artistic vision or at the very least desire to tell a story. Every asset is reused in all locations so everything looks the same. The dialogue is boring and robotic. No one felt like a vague shadow of a person. I strongly believe the dev has some weird fetish about having the main character not showering. This is a game that, regretfully, exists. It's bad but not so bad that you can have fun with it. It's just bad. It's not atmospheric, it's not exploration based, it's not funny. Tagging it LGBTQ+ is also such dum*assery, just because it seems like a good epilogue having the MC get with her sister's ex. TL;DR: swallow 3,99€ worth of pennies instead of buying this boring attempt at a cashcrab.
