Has all the style charm and the platforming is even fun, but gets bogged down with thinking it needs boss fights. Shame, the first one (an escape sequence, basically), was really good. Downhill from there. It's not that they're impossible or anything, they just weren't fun--sorry Micah.

It's a crime that it took 2 years after its release for me to find out this game exists. The creators did a fantastic job on designing this game. Love how thematic each world is with its style in art on top off it all being completely hand-drawn! Though the game is short your accompanied with a great experience and a hidden gem overall.

(SPOILER FREE) 10/10 absolutely recommend if you like platformers, enjoy art (just a little or a lot), and play videogames. The art is absolutely fantastic. story is followable and you root for the character, ending is nice, cool references to past levels, 10/10 would play again. absolutely love this game.

When I first saw this game it intrigued me with it's art style and presentation. I wondered if it would really be a piece of art or if it should just be torn up and crumpled in the paper bin. It's gameplay is very similar to games like Limbo and Inside where you traverse 2d enviroments solving light puzzles to discover a linear but fantastically crafted story full of art and craft joy that never ran out of steam, or should I say ink? Each world is a true work of art, each using different art style mediums as the title suggests and the soundtrack was awesome sauce. The story will have you producing enough tears to make water colour paint! The boss fights were also a highlight for me showing a true collage of ideas although one did make me angry enough to snap a pencil! The titular multi medium himself was a fun character that shall resonate with audiences as much as stop motion although some find it creepy but is not is good. Ok more review now ok. overall I think you should really buy this if you appreciate art styles/music in games you play and if you like more linear experiences. I suppose you could say this game was a stroke of genius. Stroke like paint brush. Review end.

Superstition of walking under a ladder: True! The multiple mediums used, the story of this interdimensional explorer, and the soundtrack is chef's kiss.

After discovering this on my algorithm on YouTube where it proceeded to showcase all the boss fights, I had to grab the game for myself. Every component I love in a great short adventure puzzle platformer game, all aligned neatly just the way I like it. It's short but sweet, and has a seriously solid soundtrack. Not to mention, all hand drawn with no digital art used in its creation. The abstract art style reignited a feeling in me, even if just briefly, of what I used to love about this type of aesthetic. The story's pretty simple philosophical type beat but it's not so bad. It's clear and pretty straightforward with a splash of abstract. But what really pulled me in was the immaculate boss fight OST each one unique to its own. I would say my first impression of this game was an odd amalgamation of RADWIMP's "Oshakashama" music video and LIMBO -- both of which I enjoyed immensely. Also, if anyone remember the flash game series on Newgrounds called "Colour My World" -- this feels very reminiscent of that game for some reason as well, except this is the colourful version. Cannot believe it took me 2 years to find this delicious game.
