Early Access Review: Visuals I like the art style. I think it fits the setting well. I was drawn to this game because of it :) I really wanted there to be a portrait of the protagonist. Also, even with static pictures, adding an effect where the background sways a little can create the illusion of a living space. Same with some fog or other kind of filter effect. Setting I think the novel is set in Turkey? I'm not sure. But obviously we encounter some really different names. It's great! To help me with the immersion, I wanted to know where I was. Story The story was quite good. It was above my expectations and reminded me of weird tales from the 1920s and the tone of "Fallen London". I could feel that the writer is someone of exceptional talent. I would come back to read other works by them. Things to consider: I quickly got the feeling that all endings would be bad or tragic, and therefore, predictable. I think any ending is okay so long as it is interesting. Personally, I would prefer endings that are framed around clear goals: "destroy the shop", "become the new shop owner", "perform a favor for 'the woman' ", "romance 'the woman' ", "rescue a soul", "steal something and change your life", "discover a horrible secret", etc. These goals don't have to be revealed to the player, but there could be endings designed around actions that fulfill them. "Escape" seems like a net-zero ending, we are sort of back to where we started and nothing has really changed. -I think the title of this game needs to change. -Finally, I felt like I needed 80% more story. ----- Best of luck, your game is very creative and intriguing.
