Unplayable. Doesn't properly use my screen's resolution, and there are no settings to change it.

It's a nice breath of fresh air after playing the original chess for so long. The new pieces and mechanics are really well thought out. Every single new piece is original and look like they could be in the original game. Would recommend to anyone interested to anything chess related.

Do not buy if you intend only to play with friends. The multiplayer is bugged, some times you can't host at all and need to quit and restart, sometimes your stuck in connection hell and it never loads you in. If you find a work around to play with your friends the game can't even play by its own rules, declaring check mate even when there are still viable moves to make.
Overall makes for a really disappointing multiplayer experience and a waste of some great potential, because when we could play it was quite fun.

I would hate to give this game a thumbs down but I was really hoping for more. I wish the story mode was more longer and had more than just one boss. And setting up the ai for a single player local match is a bit of an annoyance, having a separate mode for this with a ranomizer that would make a even deck based off of the difficulty. But still I love the concept and enjoyed the game! Cant wait for future updates!

Honestly, this game is one of the most creative and fun games I have ever played. All of the ideas for each 30+ pieces are both unique and never seen before, and it really made me want to play chess more. Once you start and get your first loss you don't wanna stop playing for a while. Really recommend, extremely cool game.

Chess with fairy pieces! I haven't played long enough to see if it has grasshoppers or not, but hopefully it does. I also haven't played long enough to determine whether the difficulty of the computer opponent is set for the brutality of most computer chess programs or whether the difficulty is set low and I just need to learn the strategy. But so far I'm enjoying it.

cool idea poorly executed, several pieces are locked behind joining discord for no reason and the game doesn't explain what pieces do very well, also i hope you enjoy guessing what your opponents pieces do, the game will tell you if you are moving a piece to a square where it will be taken but otherwise you get no information about what your opponents pieces might be able to do which makes planning ahead impossible.

Most of the puzzles are wrong, either relying on bad AI or they can be done in fewer moves than claimed.
The developer locked some pieces beind joining their discord, while i would have no issue joining, i consider this a bad practise.
The balance is seriously off, some pieces are way stronger than their price would suggest. This is actually not THAT bad, since in the campaign you are limited by their availability rather than money.
The AI is rather bad, but for causal playing its good enough i guess.
The main campaign is somewhat flawed, there isnt much incentive to buy weak pieces (for their class) since you will want to replace them anyway. So you should basically only buy the strongest pieces in its class since you will not be replacing it. Now you might get rng screwed and never get the good ones, in which case i guess buying the weaker one makes some sense, but i think having some kind of army point cap that increases would make weaker pieces more viable. Alternatively the money shoudl be much more scarce, so that you cannot always afford the best pieces and have to strategize between savign up for OP piece and buying average piece now.
