I want to like this game: the premises are awesome, the worldbuilding seems interesting, the graphics have this little something that grabs your attention/nostalgia. But that's it. The combat is a clunky mess: some basic attacks makes you kinda teleport forward and the enemies briefly disappear, and clearly none of this is intended, hitboxes are broken, and enemies hit you while you clearly are out of their reach. Platforming / movements feels aweful, as the character's movements have this little inertia that will make you fall down over and over while trying to do a precise jump or to parkour. Jumping doesn't feel right, like not high enough, and obstacles that feels possible to jump over cannot be. I understand that it is EA, but it has been for the past 2 years, so what I am complaining about will probably never change, as it is the core gameplay. I didnt go far in-game, as my playtime can show, but if I could notice so many problems on such a short period of time, I prefer to stop right away. I might check it again after EA, but for now it's a No.
